Yep, I know. He's been in my team but I think we'll see a couple of others. Martin being one I'm hoping for
Martin if named is 1st picked

Durdin 2nd

Then it's crickets atm

Does Gibcus get dropped in rd2 for Grimes, or is he a chance to stick around?

Be very surprised if he doesn't, I'm expecting 15+ games from him if he performs near the level he has pre-season and stays fit.

That will improve he was much cleaner in the second half of the practice match. He will know he needs to get in the hands of the runners Short/Rioli and any mids there at the time and not take it on himself.

I don't see it as an issue, he'll have some good run and spread out of defense giving his delivery by foot a nice fat margin of error.

No shortage of confidence from the young man when it comes to kicking...in the two practice matches we've seen he's tried to go across the 50 pinpointing precision passes and attempt surging out of a contest at half-back then go the big hoof on his left foot. :moustache:

I'd much rather the runner going out to him and saying 'steady on young fella, walk before you start sprinting' than have him paranoid about his capacities.

McIntosh out for round 1 means that Ralphsmith is most likely gonna be playing. Still looks like a massive trap to me.

This is why I'm j smith instead of Gibcus I think. Both will probably average about the same and there's no 1 cheaper than him that is probably earmarked for the first few rounds. Even players like will kelly are probably cheaper but I doubt he plays even beyond rnd 1 even if named. Sinn will most likely be sub a faiir bit too.

Also I have boyd n sdk in team.

I don't think Gibcus will score poorly, he'll be low possessions, but he'll rack up decent scores with spoils and intercepts.

Throw in his JS and despite the price, he picks himself IMO.

Doggies supporter I've seen very little written about Ed Richards. Does he have scoring potential and good JS at 250k? I know nothing about him. Better pick than Chapman/Gibcus/Hinge types?

Never set the world on fire at North or Geelong. I'll pass.
