Preuss on bench then ?
Yep. Just a cash grab. Few more hundreds and he'll be $400k real quick. If Preuss starts dominating and Gawn and Grundy keep underperforming, can always trade one of them out down the track and hold Preuss.

Of course the power move for those with Gawn/Grundy/Darcy would be to hold Preuss for the rd14 bye. But a quick cash grab would be most appealing.

Preuss out
Dixon back to R3 (good R3 for the year imo, will be in and out)
premo in

ROB style R3 super-cow from a few years back.
I am thinking the opposite might be in order.

With the extra trades this year the temptation will be strong to get rid of Gawn or Grundy and play Preuss at R2. Xerri will be the back up if Preuss does not play at some stage.

That extra $350k will be handy strengthening other areas of your team. If Preuss gets to $500k then it is a big win.

I am looking at Grundy. So far this year he does not look interested. I can't see him pumping out the 150 scores based on the way he is currently playing.

I am thinking the same as you. Will cost an extra trade down the line but allow you to upgrade to 2 extra premos early.

All well and good sure. But have you beta tested even just a slight niggle ?
How does one get back to any half decent R2 short of the bye round bezerka ? Xerri is an 80...30 short of what u need

We're all agreed, then. Getting Preuss is good. Gives us options. I thought he looked really good last week as sole ruck, so will see what Leon Campaigneron does from here.
Preuss was spent after last match, I reckon Flynn comes in and they double ruck
Darcy will play this weekend, but Meek will stay I think
So they'll 2v2

If the above plays out, let's see how Preuss scores with 2 rucks in the side

Both Gawn and Grundy have been meh and still averaging 99 and 107
They got 140s in them still, and I reckon they're coming soon
The days of 120+ averages are probably done, but 110-120 is still on the cards imo

Use the extra coin dumping Grundy for Preuss to get English.

If Tsitas and Long get a gig they'll be damn popular...but a tad earlier than optimal.

Sounds like you're on top of it early.

These rookies missing games has stalled cash gen, and probably pushed back upgrade season

SDK, Martin, Durdin, Hough and Dixon if they stick around

McInnes looked good in game 1, we'll have Preuss as well next week, then we might get a few more debutants this week

Bit too early I reckon, these might be late rookie correction trades if anything
I plan on cashing out Gibcus, Paddy, Ward, Stephenson and Durdin first the ones that are close to maxing out anyways due to high starting price.
We all started so many expensive rookies this year.
By this stage last year we had plenty of dud rookies floating about.
Same same.

Certainly looks the smart play doesnt it.
Got no probs buying Preuss if he goes alright again this week. Just not falling for the R2 beer goggles trade coz its there to be done almost every season. There's always a cheap ruck and always an uber primo that starts a tad slow....and we always crave early cash for a sugar hit

Interesting, as I thought the opposite from what I saw on Saturday night. He was actually running hard to chase back and get into position. Normally he never gets faster than a jog.

Preuss @ R2 is definitely an option as long as you can cover the inevitable missed games.

This is why I have got English in this week at R1. Next week will swing him forward and trade in Preuss at R2 what could go wrong:moustache:

This absolutely has merit. Just had a quick look. Preuss goes bloody great from a SC perspective as solo ruck. I'm 99% doing Marshall to Preuss.

When solo rucking in his short AFL career

If I had Marshall at R1/R2, I would do that trade

I got Gawndy, so I'll be holding. Preuss can come in at R3 if he scores well again

Is that his 7 year, career stats ? ......:moustache:
haha yep. He'd only played 18 games before this year
5/18 as the main ruck (behind prime Goldy and Gawn mind you)

Ok need to decide actually....

Gollart or Nathan O'Driscoll?

hmmmm
O’Driscoll

I like Gollant as a footballer but his scoring potential isn’t great considering he kicked four and only managed 79 on the weekend. His job security is also concerning with Thilthorpe and Fogarty in the 2s, a bad game the same week one of those lights it up in the magoos and he’ll be out of the side.

Louis Butler (WB) mid 130k. Should score decently on a wing.

Been in the system a few years. Good player. Massive watch.
