As others have said, this kid Carroll is HUGELY rated internally. Bottom ager in his draft year, still only 19 after 2 pre-seasons.

Feel like Durdin is a good chance of going out though if this is true. Not exactly similar players but not sure we'll throw the kid to the wolves in the guts/on a wing to start with.

This looks good on paper but then...

Dempsey - has zero JS.
Strnadicaptain - for the story but how are you picking him? Grundy being injured means everyone has Preuss and Hayes. Even then, does he go straight back out for Dixon?
Curtis - looked good. Plays in shit side so should get games. One to watch
McComb - didn't exactly set the house on fire. Dogs board seemed a bit baffled as to why he was picked. Does he even stay in?

Erasmus - expensive, poor JS, Fyfe due back earlier than expected
Skinner - not very good, poor JS
McEntee - 43 and 33 in two games as MID/FWD doesn't exactly scream "pick me" when on the bubble

Honestly the only one of those I'd be really keen to pick at this stage is Curtis. The rest either have rubbish JS or haven't really proven to have any decent scoring potential. If McComb stays in I hope he goes a lot better this week

Im keeping Rachele. JS unquestionable. Is very capable of kicking bags. Works hard defensively. Only round 7. I think he's a certainty to have another spike game soon and make his way towards 400k

Hobbs had some moments but he looked a little lost out there. Didn’t scream pick me.

NMartin on the other hand is a jet. Watched closely. Runs all over the ground and gets into good position to get the ball. Reads the play really well and very clean/clever by hand/foot. I was really impressed with him.

Yeah but everyone has him, so no one cares.

Good news. Today the Suns website as updated to say what the AFL website said yesterday.

Nope. The AFL injury report hasn't been updated since yesterday. No mention of Powell. Clear proof that AFL injury report updates PRIOR to official club updates are done by journos. Obviously some of the info is good, because they have sources at clubs, see players getting scanned, etc, but for the most part, there's a lot of guesswork, so it's best to wait for the club to post the injury report.

I've been led to believe that the piss weak, understaffed, poorly paid Suns media dept does the local things, such as the small video snippets you see of training day, or an interview after training, but all the stuff that concerns the greater AFL scene is controlled by the AFL.

Being a Suns member, I also lodged a complaint about lack of info a few months back, and that is what I learned......so give it a break...and spend more time looking at your own Clubs failings.......I'm sure there's plenty of them.

I was going to trade in Worner from freo as a d/m 102k loop.
31 and 27 possessions in the Wafl the last 2 weeks.
But Clark will actually score well IMO.
I can still get my loop later on.

because the alternative is to trade in a loophole like I originally planned.
With all the carnage floating around I will take the 1st game player as I don't need a loop.
I took Noddy at the start of the year as my loop.
Nothing wrong with going early on one or two rookies a year.
