Just on Begg, here's his bio from Pies website.

The club's second pick in the 2021 Mid-Season Rookie Draft, Begg came to the club nursing a shoulder injury. That concern kept him on the sidelines, but the ruck/forward is a long-term prospect and probably wouldn't have featured at AFL level anyhow.

The athletic big man will have used the second half of last year as a mini pre-season and he'll continue to develop this season.

Have watched him in some training vid's & some VFL this year.
Has done some very nice things, looks a prospect.

Of course like most Pie supporters that know about him (for shame toxic ) he's raw & a little shocked he's getting a game so early even with our ruck situation. Maybe Cameron will ruck & he'll play predominately fwd?

I have Grundy, English, and J Hayes. Was planning on Hayes > Hayes and Grundy > Witt's

Strnadica done enough/role good enough to consider him next round instead of either Witt's or Hayes?

OK..enough.

I've been led to believe that the piss weak, understaffed, poorly paid Suns media dept does the local things, such as the small video snippets you see of training day, or an interview after training, but all the stuff that concerns the greater AFL scene is controlled by the AFL.

Being a Suns member, I also lodged a complaint about lack of info a few months back, and that is what I learned......so give it a break...and spend more time looking at your own Clubs failings.......I'm sure there's plenty of them.
Not sure why you got personal, it wasn’t an attack on your club matey. But hey, given you opened the door, my club are the reigning Premiers champ. 13 on the trot and undefeated. I know you don’t know how any of that feels, but stick with it. Also, try reading the context of a discussion before riding in on your white horse. K, bye.

Nope. The AFL injury report hasn't been updated since yesterday. No mention of Powell. Clear proof that AFL injury report updates PRIOR to official club updates are done by journos. Obviously some of the info is good, because they have sources at clubs, see players getting scanned, etc, but for the most part, there's a lot of guesswork, so it's best to wait for the club to post the injury report.

Looks like a complete lottery. As our good mate just said, his clubs website is updated by the AFL because his club doesn’t pay its staff enough. If that’s the case it’s the same journos that do AFL, so why such a diff and why a day apart?

Who would people rather out of Rosas and Curtis? Would need to use a boost on Rosas but would probably use that boost next week on Curtis anyway so just a head to head really. Doesn't really affect anything else so just who would be the better rookie.
Not a lot between them I don’t think, may as well take Rosas as you know he’s available, if you wait for Curtis and he gets injured this week then you’re stuck with neither.

P.Diddy Cutis going alright .

Jacked up Carroll having a good debut.

Wookies .

Rioli, Carroll and Hamilton all solid first games. Rioli and Carroll probably inflated due to their opponents and Hewett out helped Carroll.
Maybe a very tempting triple downgrade in 2 weeks.
Or even pull the trigger early on one.
(Already have Clark)
Yeah I'm thinking the same. Most of my current rookies have maxxed out so time for a clean-out. Ideally wait until they are on the bubble, but tempted to go early on Clark and maybe Carroll.

Staying away from Curtis.

Small forward in a team that is going to cop bigger beltings during the rest of the season is a recipe for disaster.
