Collingwood's 2020 own 3rd round pick was held by Adelaide via Fremantle. Nothing to do with us.

In 2019 we traded pick 48 to Collingwood for there 2020 3rd rounder. I'm trying to work out what we did with the 3030 3rd round pick tied to Collingwood.

Side not the pick 48 was received from Sydney for Lewis Taylor

Oh, and that future round two selection we got off Collingwood. We traded pick 23 and F2 Collingwood, to Port for pick 22 and a future 4th round pick tied to GWS. We then drafted Robertson with pick 22.

In 2020 we then traded that GWS 4th round pick (70) in a 3 team trade, that netted us pick 63 (which was North's R4 pick).

We then traded 63 to Adelaide for 66 and a future 4th round pick tied to Melbourne.

We then traded picks 66 and 68 to Collingwood for pick 70 and Collingwood's future 4th round pick.

We lost pick 70 (and other picks) at the last list lodgement prior to the draft, that the AFL uses to determine the final draft order, and removes picks from the draft order, that teams don't have the requisite lists spots for.


Following draft picks, and seeing if a trade is still alive is a friggin rabbit hole. For all we know, some part of that 2020 GWS fourth round pick we received from Port in the Robertson trade and draft is still alive with the club in some part.

Nope. I followed those two fourth rounders, and sadly they met the same unfortunate end, as our late picks from the previous year. Burnt to cinders in the AFL's furnace for useless picks.
