Yes it’s from aa Facebook page! Hopefully it’s true 🤞🤞

In Tim Clarke's interview today they asked him if Walsh will be ready for round 1. He responded by saying that Walsh will give himself every chance and if not then it will not be soon after. Maybe I am reading to much into it but if the prognosis was still what it was initially I would have thought he would be quicker to rule him out.

Hi folks, I wasn't sure where to post this.
I'm looking for a young player with potential to draft in the PSD of our keeper league.
Luke Parks seems to have had a lot of very low scores. Is this because he has been the sub many times?
Cheers.
I would target Philp or Carroll, if either are available.

You may remember him from a smashing tackle on AMT last year.

This is not the droid you’re looking for.

Nothing wrong with the points he made though.
I found them a little condescending
He's a main board Carlton troll. Likes to claim that he's just talking the 'truth' all the time.
Went straight back to his own board and bragged about his ban, looking for praise and support and telling them how stupid we are for thinking some of our players might improve and create depth/competition for spots.

Didn't know that.

I think Aph went out of her way to show you what type of poster that bloke is....
BF is full of trolls who know how to word their typing in places where they have to ..
the bloke is a tosser.

And what makes you say that?

Carlton's own injury news wasn't exactly emphatic about him playing rd 1: Injury news: Updates on Docherty, McKay, Walsh and more

I didn't say he won't play round 1, I said there's doubt. Which there is given he's missing training at the moment and won't be playing the pre-season matches.
Media are running with the 'in doubt' headline. Club is just saying that he's resting due to foot soreness.
Missed the intraclub and will miss the Saints game. Not sure beyond that, but was stated that if the Saints game was for premiership points, he'd likely play.

Imagine still trolling as a Richmond supporter.. talk about unaware of the cliff they are about to face. It's an event horizon for Richmond supporters as they've reached terminal velocity back into obscurity... bring on terrible Richmond again.

They are coming close to the schwartzschild radius

While this is ostensibly how he was used as an U18, I'd very, very much rather he get developed for a single role as opposed to developing him for six.

Let him get to AFL level in one gig before asking him to hold down two or three.

Thread banned from this thread but bragged with baseless false accusations it was because of his post on the Richmond Board.

Seriously!

fu** I hope Dow comes out this season and sticks it up all the naysayers.

Probably my strongest player wish (along with Charlie C recapturing some of his best). Such a good kid.

Go Paddy.
He’s every bit as talented as Parish. He should strive for that type of breakout. Probably doesn’t have the endurance to get high possessions but could kick more goals

They run with the in doubt headline, then follow up later with the "Club is confident" headline all from the same presser from the club.
2 clicks for the price of one. (they also just direct to the same article with a little update) News is not news anymore it is a click counter and that is all.

It’s a very good point, Geth. I agree that I’d prefer kids developed in the one role before branching out, suppose there’s always exceptions to every rule though

Just exciting that’s he’s on the park and by all accounts looking good

Reckon you've hit the nail on the head here.

No he's not, no where near it. IF Dow was seen as the answer we wouldn't have chased Cerra and Hewett.

The one to watch is Stocker.

A midfield in 5 years time of Walsh, Cerra, Stocker and Kemp!! Cerra being the oldest at the ripe old age of 27…

Arrggghhhh......I've met Dow a couple of times and he's one of the nicest/quality people you'll ever meet so I'd love to see him succeed, but realistically I just don't see where he fits in.

Cunners is another one in that bracket, but for different reasons. Depth players but not much more.

I was under the impression Hewett was recruited to be Ed Curnows replacement

Cerra is more outside we lack wingman think he will play there.

Will be interesting to see how we line up.

I thought Dow improved his kicking a fair bit last season, which was a big concern for me, so I’m hanging in there

The thing with both of them is the flashes of A grade footy they show. An elite side step, quality goal, burst speed, stuff like that. They’ve teased us for a few years now

If Russell can keep them on the park and Voss can get anywhere close to 4Q footy out of them, it’ll be quite the team effort

Is Josh Cripps still battling it out for that last train on spot? Just heard a whisper he is back in WA, haven't seen any recent announcement from Carlton on who got that last train on spot.
Between him and Lieu, I’d take Lieu every day of the week. There’s at least one other possible in the mix though.

You make a good point. I mean if I wanted to be a smart ass I could say that about Shiel and Caldwell gets but I’m probably being biased about the potential I see in Dow. Hopefully in the future Cerra is seen as a bonus and not a need

Lieu was in a moon-boot yesterday and was taking part in some light ball work with Walsh and a couple others. Surely we don't pick him up if he's injured?
