Best fixture in a long, long time. Turns out there is some benefit to actually missing finals for once!

That Geelong game in r23 is the only real blemish... hopefully it's a dead rubber for either us or them.

That is a very good fixture. Play the hard games at home, double up with a lot of easier opponents. If we are any good, we should smash it next year.

I am still mystified by the fact poor Essendon plays us at Optus yet again, while bloody Brisbane has never played us at Optus (this is the 5th season at the stadium!). I don't think we've played Melbourne at the MCG for a long time either.

A lot of comments about Vic teams playing at home in round 1, Geelong in round 23 and Friday nights but based on the first 9 rounds, we're either genuine or its a rebuild year. Not many teams miss finals after a 5-0 start. Also, the Geelong game comes after a derby, which is usually a down week for us so giving us possibly the hardest game in this week is a plus I reckon. A week off afterwards gets us fresh for finals. If we make it that far...

West coast sitting in the top 8 by slim percentage at the end of round 22, needing a win to seal a finals spot

Trip to Geelong in round 23

Simpson says we are up for the fight

We all know what happens next.........😭😏😂

Will be interesting to see. We'll either be a contender or right down the bottom.

The best fixture we've had in years. The only piece of bullshit i've seen is back to back 6 day breaks after the derby.

Can someone explain to me why Freo get 3 optus games in a row and we don’t? , we obviously request something else don’t know what it is tho maybe the 2 home games after the bye?

The saving grace about Round 23 is getting the equaliser in Perth. We have to take the 4 points against the Cats at Optus, especially as they'll be contending for top 8.

Same applies to the Tigers double up, although history suggests we're a much better chance against them at the G than Cats down in Geelong.

We get the bye and 2 home games in a row. With our last game before the bye against the crows which is the least travel we can do. It'll hopefully give the players a good solid block where they can get some training in as well as the usual recovery.
