Dunno I was watching the AFL game, he was the lead mid in a 69 point win in a team missing Crouch, Hately and Schoenberg. Hes not a AFL mid regardless of his stats.

He was very good. As was Grigg in Sanfl after being delisted. Winning 2 magarey medals. He was the leader out there in the middle.

Pretty good. Disposal was better than normal by foot. Held onto the ball a little too long at times, but overall had a pretty strong game. The midfield just bullied the Eagles midfield physically all day.

Soligo overcomes illness
Midfielder Jake Soligo enjoyed a strong performance against the Eagles, winning plenty of the ball, as well as hitting the scoreboard.

Soligo battled throughout the afternoon to leave his mark on the game and Godden was pleased with his performance.

“He nearly didn’t play because he was sick last night and this morning, so he did a tremendous effort to get out there to be honest,” Godden said.

“I think his performance was a really good one.”

Soligo finished with 27 disposals, six marks, four clearances and booted one goal.

Well he did play half back/wing for the Calder Cannons before he joined us.....and given the latest development with Murray he might perhaps now be used to plug a gap that has opened up.
