Yeah we clearly did not rate the young mid depth in this draft at all.

Stevens mannagh and wiltshire and mannagh are all mids (especially the first 2) and arguably humphries could be too.

Going to be interesting to look back on in a few years time. Personally I was hoping we’d go for an outside runner like Freijah to replace Smith. Or Hastie for line breaking ability. Or Roberts for his ability as a small defender which we are skint.

That’s my only slight disappointment this draft but maybe they just won’t measure up.

Both Wiltshire and Humphries look like outside runners / line breakers.

It seem like we didn't rate Freijah or Hastie high enough as players to prefer them over the guys we did take (Edwards & Mannagh). Perhaps because we knew we could get Wiltshire and Humphries at the end and we rated them just as highly... or maybe the outside runners weren't as high a priority, and Wiltshire and Humphries were just the best options available when our picks came up.
