Not sure what other people think:

Watson, Curtin and Duursma may be ready to go from Rd 1
McCabe will probably debut next year at some stage.
Dear will also probably debut next year for a game or two.

We will starting trading draft picks for the likes of bazlenka and guys over 22.

I've known about the 2 nights of Draft for ages and yet I still totally forgot. The potential of the Wiz clearly has me rattled

I know this gets argued about every year, but I really don't care where our picks ends up with Academies, F/S etc.

There's a pool of available players and we have pick 4 of those available.

Of course, never bothers me either, was just pointing out to the poster that's why ours will likely end up Pick 5. Still Pick 4 overall to the available talent.

GWS would be a better pick as they don't seem too wedded to a pick whereas the Crows seem quite keen on O'Sullivan and therefore more likely to tell us where to shove it.

Same. Watson and O'Sullivan/Caddy + McCabe + Dear would be an awesome haul.

Then use F1 25 to get Bailey Smith next year.

We are very into Caddy. My mail a couple weeks ago was that Watson is a lock.

Still believe thats the case. Caddy’s name did come up to me this morning though from the same person. Can only assume it would be a F1 and not the trade down with the dees

thanks. ok so Northern states have different rules and the other 14 clubs have to follow more strict rules ? Is there a time limit to this ? say 10 years or so after that surely those clubs can be classified established and made to follow the same rules as other clubs ?

Only if they have won multiple premierships and then and only then can it be discussed.

I have no clue who we will or should pick, but I'll be happy if it is The Wizard.

Aside from Hodge, my most recent favorite players have been Cyril and Punky, so why not add another small forward to my favorites list. Give him a number in the 30's, and then give him 22 when Punky retires. I won't have to replace my jumper then.

When Curtin was not reported to slide to even pick 10 in some drafts, i was reasonably sure Eagles would on draft night go for teh 4+F1 trade for Pick 1.

But given how every one has us picking the Wiz, I think Eagles will rate their chances of nicking Curtin at Dees or GWS or even Cats pick.

Eagles are not proposing a straight F1 trade but these clubs are likely to hold Eagles feet over the coals.

I will be happy with the Wiz and trading F1 for o Sullivan or Caddy. Ideally would like something back but clubs like GWS, Cats etc are likely to not budge
