Is it just me or are they being way more diligent about the rules and technicalities for this agm/director vote? Wonder what’s triggered that.

Also… since it’s the 2023 AGM does this mean that only 2023 members are allowed to attend, like with the voting?

Wonder if he put's make up on that shiny head to help with the lights?

Everything about that post screams “this is a passive aggressive threat to try and discourage you from attending”. Gestapo shit, honestly. What has happened to this club? The people used to matter. Now they just want our money, no questions asked. Completely lost their way.

Haha they must be expecting a huge roll up.

When it was upstairs at The Port Club, 300 or so was the norm, but early 2010's when we were struggling, a couple times the room was full, so about 600.

Because of covid restrictions, only a small number were invited, so bugger all attended Jan/Feb 2021 and 2022 to make it official, and last year maybe 200, but definitely no more than 300 rocked up to the Lakes Resort for the AGM.

Make sense don't want people throwing heels instead of sport shoes lol

I hope someone who is able to attend can ask versions of the following questions:
1) What KPIs were considered in extending Ken in August? Bearing in mind the club ‘exists to win premierships’, why was August consider to be an appropriate timeline? Please insert thinly veiled swipe about finals being scary…
2) Does the board engage with members post AGM to reflect on the results of AGM voting as is good governance? When members have again voted for change on the board (3 or 4 times in a row I think) why is it appropriate that are board tenures on unelected members are so lengthy? The turnout indicates the appetite and engagement in the membership base for more member elected positions. When will the club be returned to the members? - as the Crows will be in 2028.

I know the answer but can some ask Richo if they ever reached out to Hardwick last year. I really want that on record.

They're on record saying that they didn't speak to anyone, aren't they?

Why would we have bothered speaking to a coach with a lower win/loss percentage than our Kenny?
