Well it's that time of year again...
Some of us must be getting very close to having a completed team now.
Post them here! Who will be the first to seek the stamp of approval?

I'll only have two trades left when I get my last rookie (Wilmot/Wardlaw) off field
4 Trades left which probably leaves me up s**t creek.
Today's version of my final team. Picking Steele over Butters or Rozee has been a disaster. Hoping Jack can come home strong.

Thanks mate. Hopefully Steele comes good. Will trade him and Humphrey to Clarry and a 102k rookie, if trades allow such a luxury.Nice team.
Can loophole them for a few weeks if you have to anyway. Thanks mate. Hopefully Steele comes good. Will trade him and Humphrey to Clarry and a 102k rookie, if trades allow such a luxury.
Both good options. Option 2 is probably better long term. But given your ranking, if you’re worried about your ranking this week option 1 might be the play. It’s really a matter of Sheezel vs Lloyd. If you think Sheez can outscore Lloyd absolutely do option 2. If you’re not confident go with 1. Hard to say.I'm absolutely not copping a Cameron -3 as part of my 18 with my rank being what it is, so it's causing a re-think. Means no Sinclair, but it's not like he's an absolute can't-miss player this year.
Completed team 1: Humphrey, Ford and Sheezel -> Ryan, Maric and Lloyd

Key points to consider:
- Option two gives me better coverage for Cameron next week, and another rookie as coverage for the remainder of the year
- Option one gives me another premo score this week, and would be banking on Sheezel slowing down on the run home and Lloyd being an upgrade on him.
Option two in isolation probably makes more sense, but the concern would be Clark coming back and Windhager missing when his coverage would be important in the latter rounds.
With either option, down to three trades lol. Still pushing for a top-100 finish, but trading in De Goey and Jezza over the last three weeks has destroyed me.
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking at this stage. With so few trades, the coverage will be important I think. Just gotta hope Windhager sticks around – basically resigned to holding Cameron at F6 now, not worth enough to trade, and not enough trades left to turf him. Both good options. I’d probably be leaning towards 2. Could cost you less trades down the track with better coverage
For 10 minutes this morning I thought about burning my last 2 trades and going Cameron and Johnson to a real premo and relying on Humphrey to cover both Midfield and Forwardline. But then again, I took a deep breath, and remembered I don’t want to be stuck with a premo like I was with Caleb Daniel in 2019Yeah, that's what I'm thinking at this stage. Another idea could be keep Humphrey another week , or two and swap him for Mills and just bring in Windy and Maric. I could see Mills matching Ryan for scoring and youd have an extra 100kI'm absolutely not copping a Cameron -3 as part of my 18 with my rank being what it is, so it's causing a re-think. It's a solid option, but the problem is that I need a defender as my last upgrade - seven premo forwards at the moment, but only five defenders.Another idea could be keep Humphrey another week , or two and swap him for Mills and just bring in Windy and Maric. It comes down to dependable scoring vs inconsistency with greater upside - which do you prefer for you bench player?I think so - like the role better, and feel like Sheldrick will be spending more and more time forward with Mills back.
It's a flip of the coin really, but think I have Windhager just in front
Do we know for sure Sheldrick has a better upside though? Not sure he does when you consider he's likely not getting any CBAs with Mills, Warner, Rowbottom and Parker in there. Saints mix should be a fair bit easier to crack. It comes down to dependable scoring vs inconsistency with greater upside - which do you prefer for you bench player?
I don't have any good stats to back me up, but that was a big score from him last week considering his very low TOG - that to me is huge upside!Do we know for sure Sheldrick has a better upside though? Hes not going to get two goals every week. I think Windys JS is bettter and he ll get better roles at least until Clarke gets back.I don't have any good stats to back me up, but that was a big score from him last week considering his very low TOG - that to me is huge upside!
My team is complete (assuming I don't reverse my trades this week - still umming and ahhing)...
