Horne Francis will be a gun. But a frustrating one, that goes only sometimes.

On current evidence, I would have him behind both Sheezel and Wardlaw if we were picking again.

That's it, he picks and chooses when he goes full bore in terms of chasing etc. And by enabling his bullshit, Port have sentenced themselves to having to deal with it too.

They would have been far smarter to let Clarko belt him into shape then got themselves a far better player at 24.

No Chase Jase is and will be a bloody good footballer, he isn't generational, which is what we were told, mainly by SA's though.

George "The Animal" Warlord looks to me to have Jase's burst, his aggression, his lovely footskills ... and he chases like a maniac.

I remember Good Judges here saying wait for Wardlaw, he's everything Jase is and more.

Never make big calls this early you'll only look a goose later on.

I'm confident Wardlaw will always be a more committed defensive player than Jase.

That Jase doesn't even do it for you lot is telling.

What's the excuse now?

Doesn't like Adelaide? Wants to be a side that wins games? Undiagnosed injury?

Maybe, just maybe, Jase is a front runner who doesn't like doing the hard work.

He honestly could be if he put the work in but Jase strikes me as the bloke doing the 10k run would sneak around the first corner, to the fish n chip shop, to slam down a chicko roll and coke, only to join the main group for the last 500m sprint, huffing just as bad as the rest.

You missed the point didn't you?

It's hard to grasp your imbecilic ranting sometimes but it does make me laugh out loud when you write something so tone deaf that you don't even know what point your making.

He's worked hard enough to play in more wins in the last 3 months than your club has won in the past 3 1/2 seasons.

There's no excuses because there's no need for them.

Are you suggesting Jase alone is the reason for Port's good form this year?

Idolises . Takes advice from. Legally takes the surname from the p.o.s below. Not very bright is Simple Jase and a sneaky coward too.
He's in rightful place at Port Power.

Later in 2009, he was officially charged with the following crimes: three charges of threatening life, eight counts of common assault, six counts of aggravated assault, six counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and two counts of threatening to cause harm. Fabian pleaded not guilty to all charges; however, it was announced on 26 January 2012 that Francis was found guilty and was subsequently sentenced to 15 months in jail over the charges. The judge described Francis as "domineering, threatening, verbally vicious and at times physically quite violent ... undeterred by the presence of others - by the presence of [their] children, her parents or by work colleagues", noting "Francis had bashed Ms Buckskin in the face, threatened to stab her and threatened to injure her to such an extent that she would have to drink through a straw."

In 2019, a woman began legal action against Cable, alleging he sexually abused her between 1968 and 1973 when she was twelve years old and continued into her late teens. The allegations were investigated by the police in 1998 and referred to the Department of Public Prosecutions (DPP), but no charges were laid. Cable denied the allegations and tried unsuccessfully to have the case thrown out of court several times. Cable's identity was only revealed after a suppression order was lifted in February 2023 ahead of a trial.

Also in February 2023, a second woman came forward claiming she was sexually abused multiple times by Cable. Cable has categorically denied all the allegations. A third woman came forward as well, accusing Cable of sexually abusing her when she was a child. The woman claims that she refrained from reporting Cable to the police because "all of Australia loved him." During the trial, an additional two women testified that Cable sexually assaulted them when they were children. This takes the women that have accused Cable of sexual abuse to five.

In June 2023, a Western Australian Judge, hearing the civil case, found that Cable had engaged in "grooming behavior" and sexually abused the plantiff over a period of several years. The woman was awarded $818,700 in damages for historical sexual offenses; however, it is unlikely she will ever recoup this money, as Cable declared bankruptcy prior to the trial.

Jokes on you Contested Marx ( I do like that and salute you albeit begrudgingly).
Thank goodness we are discussing who's had the more vile players over the journey and not who's the better side.
I think we're up 2/1 on vile ex-footballers currently.

Not how or why this is relevant?

yeah, and we kicked him out of our Hall of Fame, but you gave The Wife Basher* a brand new car.

* A term used for what he was convicted off, but maybe not every thing he did.

Did we just trade for his step son? No. Is Francis still in good graces at Port? Yes. We just removed Cable from our HoF.

Back to your decrepit post industrial hell-hole commie.

yep, we could have taken Barrys son but chose Travis Martin-Beynon. Who I hear you ask, yeah, who indeed. I wonder why we didn't take Shane, son of a legend. Maybe we didn't want to give Barry a new car.

JFJHF can do things that very few can, which will no doubt win some games over his career.

But our two boys are much more consistently productive and you know you are going to get a very high standard every week from both.

It’s pretty clear cut in hindsight
Agree,,,,JHFF is an impact player and nothing else. Sheez and Ward are better. TT is probably a more reasonable comparison as being an impact player but better. In football ability and potential impact on a game alone TT is better. That said, Judas is only in his second season, and could improve his tank to get himself to more contests, but I kind of doubt it in the same way Rayner has never really improved that much on that front the way Brayshaw, Cerra, and LDU have in that same draft.

Any of our players take his surname ?

Any of our players take his surname ?

You know Jason took the name before he was drafted by your club don't you?
How come it didn't matter then?

It was a red flag then to some of us

Adding the wife beaters surname to his

Clearly not the brightest bulb in the shed. The red flag prior to that was being a high school drop out.
Enjoys the easy way out when things are tough

I wish for Port Powers sakes that Jase had the ability for repeated contests that their posters do around here.
