Death ride off to a good start, apparently one of their new recruits is pretty full of himself and has a real attitude problem, heard blokes at one of the teams he used to play for can't stand him.

Should be worth a drop a few rungs on the ladder next year

Ok so this team was minor premiers in 2020, 2nd in 2021 & then came 11th (2 games off 8 & better percentage than Dogs in 8th). They have 3 good key forwards, now have 2 dangerous small forwards when fit, 3 young gun midfielders + a Brownlow medalist & Boak, 2 all Australian defenders + their captain who is a strong defender and an overall strong core.

How do they flame out?
1. Poor coaching by Hinkley
2. Injuries
3. Attitude problems potentially stemming from the moves made this offseason
4. The team takes time to mesh

Most likely they return to the top 8 at least, just have too much talent overall.

Some key players are ageing. Gray has already retired. Amon has departed.

I think they are in the 6-10 range on the ladder.

They lost Robbie Gray and Steven Motlop and replaced the with JHF and Rioli.

But, if they have similar luck to last year and maybe some chemistry issues and a coach on the hot seat then slipping down to pick 5-7 is possible.
