Spending xmas in SA. Went for a ride this morning with the mrs. Was riding along Semaphore Beach. As you know when you're on a shared path you're supposed to stick to the left of the path. Someone decided they wanted to take up the entire path (he was walking with a blonde girl). After a bit my wife rang her bell just to let them know we were coming by on the right. I went by after my wife and I heard him say "alright bitch" (directed at my wife) I thought I misheard so I stopped, turned and asked him what he said. His response was "you heard and what are you going to do about it?!". Couldn't believe who is was. I laughed...anyone else and I'd probably be angry. But it was too on brand and it wasn't worth it given the extra trouble it could have caused. His response: "something funny dickhead?" And I said "you're pretty lippy for a mumma's boy". Then his faced changed and he started walking towards me but his girlfriend kept shouting his name and ran in front of him. She begged me to please ride away. An obvious sign that she knows how much of a hot head he is. I felt bad for her.

The biggest takeaway for me was his height. He must have been wearing lifts on data collection day. I'm 190cm and I felt a foot taller than him. Plus if I was holding a football at the time I definitely think I would have been able to give him a 'don't argue' and shrugged him off pretty easy.

I've spent a lot of time around footballers growing up and rolled in player circles throughout my life due to my profession. I've only ever had a run in with 2 players: Mark LeCras and the player I crossed paths with today. I don't heckle or anything like that but some players will go out of their way to throw their ego around. This dude is very immature and a big FIGJAM. Hopefully he smartens up because it's going to get him in trouble if he crosses the wrong person. Very glad he doesn't play for North.
