Obviously you didn't read my previous commentary on JHF, I have clearly stated that I am happy with the trade.

He wanted to move, and we got fairly compensated. I would like to see Port choke but really only due to us having that 1st round 2023 pick, as a general rule I would go for Port in a Showdown (except for this coming season) but if I'm totally honest SA as a whole is sort of nothing for me (like Moe I guess).

I must admit though, I find this hanging out at opposition boards a little weird, not something I do myself.

Needs to fire for Port. A middling 22 season with little draft capital in 22 and 23, with a coach under fire. A lot of eggs in that basket long contract on big money. Compare the respective trades of Port's position in 2022 bringing in JHF and Rioli (and losing Amon), to Richmond bringing in Taranto and Hopper, and Lions with Dunkley, Gunston, McKenna (plus Ashcroft). Sorry can't see Port being competitive with that lot (not to mention Geelong, Swans, Bulldogs, Melbourne etc), and with a tough draw what the hell do they do from here? Seems like a high risk low reward strategy to me.
