Not close enough to the siren. What about the bit of play to win the ball from the Lever kick against Carlton?
Fair enough. Another classic case of Melbourne pulling a win out of their arse with a mix of pure luck and individual brilliance rather than any real composure or plan.

Woah

A total of…0 trades got done in post trade period, pick swap period.

What an absolute piss take, can imagine the bloke who thought this trash up feeling good about himself all over a zoom call when they decided to run with it.
You still here? Surely theres another dead horse somewhere else you can flog.

IMO when Salem has a good pre season he has a good season. So far he’s firing. Hopefully the thyroid doesn’t play up.
Could be onto something there. I'd like to see the preseasons where he's had thyroid issues. 2018 and 2019 he was better than good. 2021 he had arguably his best season.

Man I hope so. Feel like he was very harshly delisted and had a lot of promise.
Not just Daemon , but I’m a bit surprised at all the Hore love.

To me he just wasn’t athletic or big enough for AFL level to play anything other than the role Lever already plays.

190cm, excellent reader of the play and mark, but not quick, not agile, not strong, solid but unremarkable kick, 27 years old with an injury history.

With Turner in the wings and Tomlinson for probably one more year getting Hore makes very little sense to me.

Don’t get me wrong, I thought he was OK if allowed to play to his strengths, but Melbourne just doesn’t look like the right club for him given who is already on the list.

If Bailey Laurie can get a place on our list then Marty Hore can :)

Out of interest, why do you prefer Curtin over O'Sullivan?

Nothing wrong with Watson either. I'd love him at the dees.
O'Sullivan looks OK. Key Defender can be a replacement for May. Probably a smart move. But he's outside those top line juniors. But Curtin looks like a more versatile player with beautiful disposal. Something we need desperately. Watson doesn't interest me at all. Unless he turns into a Toby Greene, I'm not wanting my club to use pick 6 on a 170cm small forward. And we don't need Sanders. Would be an incredibly dumb move if we took Sanders. I'd rather reach for Leake tbh.

is Steven May versatile? Alex Rance? Weitering? Andrews? Nope. Full back. Versatility is so overrated in my opinion.

It's all subjective I guess. Curtins disposals look just average to me. Nothing special.

the question on 170cm Watson is fair. And I agree on Sanders. If he was fast then I'd be keen but he's not.
