Not thinking about me. Im fine with where Im at, and spending so much, my roster needs an overhaul. Remember, every year i have 50m+ dead money, so i cut players to make room constantly. More of an assessment of how everyone sits, the collective position. I also want to make sure GMs feel the squeeze of the cap.

Ws only stirring hence :D

Wouldn’t be easier if we knew cap numbers before auction was going?

I explained before there was no need to raise it because new higher salaries wont take effect till next year. But i was just assessing whether there might be a slight increase this year if everyone (not one or two people) but everyone was hard up against the cap unable to make waiver moves for the year.....so it would only be after the auction one could assess that, not before

FYI....

The maximum number of open bids on players that MFL allows is 100. We're up to about 55. Just in case we reach 100, have to wait till bids are won to free up spots. Unlikely, but never know.

If you cap your bids at 70 we will be fine :D

Everyone wants to race to the bottom of the page instead of looking over the top first. Made it easier this year only one column of tagged players too

Penalties are the only way people will learn.

Need to start bringing in penalties for repeat offenders.
Dont have an issue with it as i can delete the bid, but it gets a bit ugh sometimes. Maybe a dead cap penalty equal to the players salary for deliberate ones? But, as i can delete its not an issue it gets frustrating when its someone outbidding someone who does have the pick, as then i have to delete bid and try to find last known legit bid and re-do it as commish

Yeah that sounds like a good idea. Like that.

Start a warning system from now, you get one warning to cover genuine accidents. From then onwards you get a dead cap penalty equal to the players salary you bid on.

At the stage now where if you bid on someone and don't have the required draft pick that it defaults to your next highest draft pick. So if you don't have a second rounder it becomes your first rounder if you have it.

What about the example.....a person without a 1st bids on a player designated for a 1st

I dont mind the dead cap penalty that we put in yesterday, far easier than working out penalty picks.

Id be all for campaigners having to give up more more draft capital than what the tag was but its hard when people have traded away all their picks.

Becomes the next years first if the owner doesn't match. Gives the owner a choice at least.
