On the weekend of September 23 and September 24, if Collingwood has qualified for the 2023 Toyota AFL Grand Final, Ticketek would, using an automated system, randomly allocate tickets to priority group 1 members who registered, and then randomly allocate the remaining tickets to priority 2 members and priority 3.

I have a singular ticket that I bought and am unable to attend. Spent $106 on it. Will sell at cost price. Level 4 at the back

Damn, that wording feels different to previous years. I’m a 30 year member (priority 2) and I’m sure that in 2018 and 2019 priority 2 got tickets if there were any left and then priority 3 got balloted?
 
Just had a mate message me, saying he's going to register for the ballot for the GF and am I going if we make it

Had to break it to him that ballot registration was last week

Poor bloke, it's his first year as a member and he just assumed that registration was done after the prelim

I told him to call the club anyway, but it's unlikely there's anything they can do

Fingers crossed for him. I don’t know how finals seating/tickets work but I did similar with H&A game this year thinking with my membership all games were automatically allocated a seat. However this was a pre-order game (vs Baggers) and of course QR code didn’t come up at the Game. I was sent to the club ticket booth at gate 5 and attendant said nah sold out preorder game but they helped my out by reaching behind him on counter and was literally a stack of barcoded tickets. Guessing for the just in case for nuffies like me that didn’t know the rules. Next time I’ll know better though.

Geez, if they have a stack of tickets set aside for 'sold out' games, it's no wonder it never reaches full capacity.
 
Guys, Ticketek have put up some more tickets for the public reserve. Just scored myself a few for me and my sister. Not sure how many they still have up for sale.

Yeah they only had Cat 1, 2 or 3 shown.

I ended up with Cat 3 in M5, which I assume is next to the GWS cheer squad which is maybe why they were re-released as they might have been reserved for them in the first place?

Pretty much the entire ground will be a Collingwood section.
 
Obviously haha but there might be some neutrals who’ve bought corporate tickets or unluckily a GWS section

I did a similar thing in 2003. Thought I had to go into the ballot but turned out I had an already guaranteed ticket which I was supposed to pick up the day before. Thought I was gonna miss us winning the first premiership in my memory…then…

Access for Gold Members to purchase reserved seating in the AFL Reserve will open in the following on-sale windows:
Gold Members with competing club of support:
11am - 1pm Sunday, September 24
via Ticketek

Gold Members with any club of support:
(if not sold out prior)
2pm - 4pm Sunday, September 24
via Ticketek
If not sold out in the first two on-sale windows on Sunday, the following on-sale windows may open on Monday to eligible Silver Members:

Silver Members with competing club of support:
(if not sold out prior)
10am Monday, September 25
via Ticketek

Silver Members with any club of support:
(if not sold out prior)
2pm Monday, September 25

How come you are asking for spare ticket only on our board, given you are a Demons fan?

The GWS board might be better for you as Ticketek were selling some today as I imagine they didn't sell their full allocation.
