The dumbest part I heard was that comment about champion data and charging the AFL to create a column. How useless is that group that they cannot add another field?

The AFL fixture is tipped to be released on Thursday November 16, with a Gather Round in South Australia already locked in for Thursday, April 4 through to Sunday, April 7.
The Round Zero plan is reported to run from March 8-10 while Round 1 would be comprised of nine games and take place from March 14-17.

Yeah it's annoying, but if they can just avoid stupid names and stick to rounds 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. then you can avoid confusing situations where you have to say sentences like, "(insert name) played the first five games of the season before getting injured in round 4."

As a programmer, I am massively in favor of all indexes, counting and other ordered lists to start at 0.

I think the concept is a great idea but the name is absurd. Absolutely no reason for it to not be called round 1.

Why?
I don't think it is even a great idea. It is just pandering to the big Vic clubs. Another VFL superlative. It's for points, it's Round 1.
Sorry, the concept of the round is fine by me, but you can't have your "Block Buster Season Opener" for Carlton/Richmond/Collingwood/Essendon in Round 2 just because.
Didn't know that , now i agree , anyhow it is what it is and let's just smash the team with the best culture in the last 40 years
