Lethlean was a running list management and overriding the recruiters, which as good as Rozee is was very fortunate. Libba was far from convincing. Toce has been very good so far.

This nearly deserves its own thread. This is the bottom of the barrel that two clubs who like to think they lord it over the competition have gotten to.

How management at those two clubs signed off on this is extraordinary. 20 years since a finals win for one of them. 23 years since the most recent premiership. Hated rivals. Kumbaya how lovely.

Can you imagine Liverpool and Man U doing that? Those supporters would burn their grounds down.

Everything that encapsulates the problem with this two EX big four clubs.

Both live in the past, neither have looked like winning anything in the past 25 years, but have to go back on past glories, and their mentality is that it will just happen for them.

Carlton are the worst, but Essendon have not been top 4 for 21 years or won a final in nearly 8000 days.

To think anyone is impressed with flags from the 20th century when both cheated with brown paper bags to win, and Essendon cheated with drugs because 'Whatever it Takes', Carlton tanking all the way back to 2007 in the Kruezer Cup, and multiple top 5 picks over that time up to now because they thought it was easy to tank, destroy a winning culture and the flags would just happen, is laughable.

Encapsulated by their bogan Kernahan '**** them we're Carlton', like they have some type of birthright, is the chief reason they are hated. Arrogance, hibris, entitlement writ large. May it continue forever.

Also King is excellent. Rozee is a gun, but we only had one pick. Pick4 and 5 would have been nice.

Still maintain that in an AFL that gave a shit both Blues and Dons get de-registered for actively straight cheating for years before busted, WGAF about status when it's integrity of comp and fair play that gets pissed down the tube otherwise. Eagles get to stay just because theirs was recreational instead of institutional.

Since both still exist, AFL remains a soulless corrupt entity beholden to the whims of the haves as the expense of the have nots regardless of any platitude to the contrary that gets thrown around.

Dangerous tackle on Murphy, i don't ****ing understand what players are meant to do now. Wasn't even relatively dangerous. Murphy contributed more do the tackle going to ground. This bullshit will be the new lifting the arm in the tackle for high contact. Making an absolute mess of the sport if you cant tackle someone to ground
