Powers centre clearance work and class across the ground is ridiculous. They can afford to play for most of the game with Wines and Boak playing outside roles they are the real deal.

And yep Bergman had a blinder B&B 6 disposals at 67% efficiency...I hope he stays at Port.

Port look like legit premiership contenders now, getting JHF was a big win for them, he looks totally engaged now while at North he looked like he DGAF.

Well the Cats certainly in a bit of trouble, time's starting to run out for them to get on that roll. Lost about five percent tonight too.

Good, I hope they miss finals.

JHF is a big get but Butters and Rozee have gone up a level to be close to elite. They are a bit like us with a big spread of solid talent and no real superstars. Also guys like Powell-Pepper, Drew, Houston, Marshall, Finlayson etc have all gone up to be above average players.

Wanted Powell-Pepper in the draft, I get why trading pick 10 was a good deal for us, but it was pretty dumb to trade out of the first round of the 2016 draft. I suppose Coffield, Long and Battle came from that trade, so probably the right move, but a shame SPP didn't last until Long's pick.

Just beautiful. Essendon's failure will taste even sweeter after watching them laugh at their twin. Dumb & Dumber.

A few questions:

That film at the end, what is that?
How's the Zoom chat with those identical looking bald bearded Blues fans? Look like a bunch of angry dwarves lol
This guy Herbatron, does he do Saints videos? Asking for a friend.
The comforting sounds of the Carpenters were perfect for the feeling of watching Carlton shit themselves yet again.
Love it

Sort of.

Stop getting hung up on stats, he played a role on Cameron & played his role.

they cleaned it up pretty quick.
Yeah the momentum shifts in footy are off the charts. I'm guessing it probably has something to do with how fast the game is played these days as a result of rule changes to open up the play, the 6-6-6 rule being one example. Handy to have such dynamic midfielders of course, butters in particular has gone to new levels this last month or so. He looks so confident at the moment and like he's really enjoying himself. Will give Charlie a bit of a shake you'd think if he stays injury free. Port are really good to watch at the mo', should be a fantastic game in a month or so against the Pies.

They weathered the Geelong pressure storm and then they kept going. They play in perpetual motion and are impossible to set you own rhythm against. To me they have a game that looks like it could bring home a flag. There are so many avenues to goal and they don't rely on any one player to do most of the work.

Geelong's work ethic makes them a hard side to beat and they are still a good side but Port just wear sides down. There is a bit of peak Richmond about them at the moment. The tempo they set makes others look like they can't keep up.

Port’s pressure and speed on the ball last night reminded me of Richmond in their flag years. They’re building something special there, mostly because of that midfield.

Port players look very much connected and invested. Seem to move as a collective and half a step ahead of the opposition, numerous players in career best, good mix of ages and sizes, grunt and skill and speed, rabid home crowd - going to give this year a real shake you'd think.

We should have beaten Port at home, which seems hard to believe now, things have changed with both teams pretty significantly since then. Feel like they would give us a massive touch up at the moment.
Not to mention the $700k we missed out on 😂

Did you watch the game the entire team played a part on shutting down Cameron, Hawkins and the rest. Alir Alir shut down Hawkins with the help of others but he still had 16 disposals and 12 marks. Did you see Bergman's two howlers he had heaps of time and space to pick out a team mate and missed both by 20 metres causing direct turnovers. When you only have 3 kicks in a game and you turn 2 of them over in shockers there is an issue. He is the worst kick in that side by a long way - absolutley dont want!

Except last night they were well down on effort and pressure. Too many of their players simply couldnt give the second and third repeat efforts they have in the past. Smith's effort of bumping Houston in the 3rd and failing to put a decent tackle on said it all to me. There older players are banged up and they are struggling to get any continuity.

sick to death of the media focusing on what punishments players could receive.

It's bad enough with players being suspended for dangerous tackles without the media making it worse by highlighting them and pushing for suspensions.

Daisy Pearce was a disgrace with the way she kept banging on about the Butler tackle and how he should have been suspended for it.

She must have felt pretty stupid when his suspension got overturned.

I wanted there to be something in it because Danger is a campaigner but nothing in that at all. If you can't take players to ground any more just make it a rule and stop this stupid commentary.
