Feeling like a rookie here... There were two rounds of practice matches right? I can only see the second one on fanfooty and the afl app. Can someone tell me where can I browse SC scores for the first round? TIA <3

Scores weren't kept for the first round, as they were simply "unofficial" match's ......scores were kept for the one & only "official" round of pre-season gamesFeeling like a rookie here... Will affect Round 1 opener CAR / RICH (Thursday) ....GEEL / COLL (Friday) ....MELB / BULL (Saturday) ......and by the time we get to Sunday's HAW / ESS, the MCG should be well & truly a mess

Recruits, draftees, bolters ... we pick the team that's running out for your club's season-openerwww.afl.com.au
Caminiti interesting if named. Usually can’t turn down a $102k rookie but not sure in this case.Rookies
Young, Cowan, Hollands
Sheezel, Chesser, Ginbey
Ashcroft, Wilmot, Mckenna
Baker, Jones
Constable
Michalanney
Greene, Mckenzie, Menzie, Davey jr
Phillipou, Caminiti
He will get games, and is a wrecking ball of a kid with great athleticism, but I can't see it translating into scores, particularly in the sample size you'll see vs Freo and DogsCaminiti interesting if named. Usually can’t turn down a $102k rookie but not sure in this case.
Yeah I'll correct to him if necessary.Caminiti interesting if named. Usually can’t turn down a $102k rookie but not sure in this case.
It'll all fall apart when he takes them on an excursion to Judd_Magic 's Trading camp.
Cheers for the reply. Think I've got it, was using Firefox. Works on Microsoft Edge on desktop and on Firefox mobile. Must be a conflicting plug-in somewhere with Firefox on my desktop.
I'm fine. Just really busy in RL. Back now.Anyone heard from buttox?
I haven’t seen him around here since the start of the year, and I would’ve thought he’d be rejoining the SC action by now.
Hope everything is going okay for him.
Glad to hear it. Welcome back!I'm fine. Just really busy in RL. Back now.
I'm lying on the couch with the 'rona feeling a bit shit. Be nice if the footy was on this weekend.Hey kents, make sure we enjoy our last stress free Sunday without worrying about Sunday carnage, a questionable C choice and planning rage trades 8 hours before it opens up.
NRL is on?I'm lying on the couch with the 'rona feeling a bit s**t. Be nice if the footy was on this weekend.
Nah league is boring. Cricket is on, that will do.NRL is on?
and yet you state league is boring.....55555Nah league is boring. Cricket is on, that will do.
Wasn't sure if this was the place to put this, but coming from a football (soccer) background, which obviously has tactical substitutions, it is normal for teams to 'rest' their big players once the game is done, especially if they have an injury history or are older... I can see this really affecting rucks this year, but also your Cripps/Aaron Hall/Jelly/Yeo style of campaigner.
There seems to be some thought in other threads that they will sub off rookies, but surely it's the premo's whom come off once the game is won? I wouldn't expect that to happen as much in losing teams (fanbases ain't gunna be happy if their best players come off when they're losing), but could be a massive factor in winning teams.
Whom do we feel is a 'cotton wool' risk?
AFL is much more even than many football leagues though. Aside from the bottom couple, most teams can beat any other on the their day.Wasn't sure if this was the place to put this, but coming from a football (soccer) background, which obviously has tactical substitutions, it is normal for teams to 'rest' their big players once the game is done, especially if they have an injury history or are older...
