It seems Krueger and Dean might be a bust. Krueger is as fragile as china and having the same foot injury indicates a weakness /problem there that may not go away. What a waste.

When’s deans contract end? I hope he gets a chance but geeze footy can be cruel
Contracted through 24 AFAIK. I assume the decision to sign Markov means that’s it for Dean in 23. The broader issue he’ll face is it gives Frampton the inside running on a KPD role for a full season. As they say availability is the best ability.

Relax people, Dean will be fine. Probably just came back to early and did to much.
Not sure how the mid season draft works but if we delist a player if at all possible, Dean may be good to go.
Krueger is a bigger worry but it does not mean his shoulders will never mend fully.

Terrible news for Dean.I feel for him as this is another major setback for him..Just as well we recruited Frampton to give us some coverage on the backline.

Don’t think you can delist players mid year, you can put them on the inactive list though and that may clear a spot down the line but atm Dean is facing the possibility of missing out on two full years of footy. He’s got contract security but is facing an uphill battle.

if you looking for a way to get rid of him, you'd need to convince him to retire from footy because his feet arent up to it ....and pay him out ...

i'm now getting a feeling of deja vu and dayne beams...

I do not think he and Beams should be spoken of together, I think Dean has been very unlucky but Beams was something else entirely.

I think if his foot cannot standup to the rigours of AFL football or training then Dean,s should be payed out I never thought Beams deserved his payout after the way he conducted himself.

I just hope Charlie can get through this and play some football for the Pies.

Can he get a medical pay out outside of the cap?

I suspect he’ll keep on trying to get back out there though.
