There's something off about the North board compared to the other club boards on BF. No idea why but the vibe is distinctly different in quite a toxic, aggressive way.
...i mean, most of their supporters are a little off-kilter. They have bought the biggest bigfootball celebrity oddities to the forums.

Very strange club, only nuffies left to support them so I guess it's just expected that a high proportion are batshit.

I know a lot of us were pretty dirty on him going and probably weren't exactly wishing him a hugely successful time with the hawks, but I don’t recall seeing people wish injury and harm for him.

There seems to be a general consensus among BF posters that you stop short of rejoicing in injury to opposition players. A combination of knowing what it's like when it's your own player, and fear of karma I guess.
The commentary on Ben Jacobs might be a better comparison.

Wines back in full training next week, sounds like he’ll miss the intra-club, but will play in the WCE trial game.
Think Wines will be eased into the season? Higher CBAs for JHF for the first few weeks?

We wouldn't find out either way

The club will fudge injury reports to mask injuries to players unless it's long term.

Even if it's long term and they're not best 22 they get transported into the dimension that willem drew did with his foot.
Oh boy. I remember the reported time frame for Dixons return would change nearly every week…

May have to wait and see whether he lines up this Friday in the internal trial.

It would be similar anywhere the existence of your club is in constant peril.
And it’s currently looking worse than ever for them.

So was this board as toxic in 2011/12 when the future existence of Port was in peril?
No, because in 2011-2012 the mess we were in was mostly due to outside factors and the people involved were actually doing their best to get the club out of it, whereas now the mess we're in is entirely of our own making and the people involved would rather deny that we're even in a mess so that they can grimly cling to their own jobs.

Approaching the season, training ramping up and bang, Sinn and Fantasia with setbacks.... Worrying signs.
I just hope the club are looking at all options to get their bodies right. Collingwood sent Elliott and Moore off to Germany to consult Bayern Munich head doctor who's an expert on hamstrings. If it's groin issues for Sinn and calf for Fantasia it's time to seek the best medical treatment available, wherever that might be.

Any truth to Butters having done an AC joint over the weekend?
Jonas said yesterday that Butters has a sore shoulder and is 50/50 to front up for the intraclub match. Also Orazio is good to go for the intraclub.

There was a Jonas interview on SEN. Only caught the back end of it but I reckon he said Josh Sinn has hamstring soreness but will be right for round 1 if selected.
Can anyone confirm this is what was said. It’d be devastating to lose Josh so soon after his return to full training.

Here you go, has hammy soreness and will be right for round 1. (At 3:50)
