Is that why he hospital-hand-balled it 20m to SPP on Friday?

I hope he isn’t injured. Too early to be carrying injuries through the season.

If its causing problems id book him straight in for surgery. Yes he is important to the team but if he plays like that all year he will do more bad than good.

Caught a bit of the the 7 news sports report last night and they mentioned that Port were 'Sweating' on the fitness of Junior Rioli. I got concerned so kept watching and then the story was that he had a bit of a sore throat. I was relieved but also completely baffled that was the headline for the sports news for the night.

the fact that was mentioned prior to JHF's sore ribs, probably means that the ribs are not a concern at all. It's a contact sport players are going to be sore from time to time. I also don't see how Boak won't be available for round 1, he was cleared from any structural damage, the bruising might hang around a make him sore but he should be good to go by round 1.

Must be a serious sore throat if they are sending him home for it and not even allowing him the time to get up for the game that is tomorrow.

If it is the sore throat that a lot have caught here in Melbourne, then it is a bugga! My wife has just picked it up, and she hasnt been able to speak for 3 days, and can barely lift her head off the pillow!

It is nasty!

Damn. Mrs B is in Melbourne this week. Might need to quarantine her when she gets back.
