What's the knock on Cripps? A niggle? Doubts about his ability to back up after last year's effort? Ghosts of 2020/21? More value elsewhere around his pricepoint?

I have him in my side at present but have hardly seen him mentioned let alone in someone's team.
A good pick, but it's those middling 90s scores that pop up that kill him, otherwise he would be 125+

Yeah he’s not a bad pick. Unsubbed he went 115 last year. Without Walsh last year in 2 games he went 126.

He always starts fast usually too. It’s the back end of the season where he goes 150 followed by a 70 which kills you in finals.

I'm surprised there's not more support for Warner. 3rd year in the system now, probably set for a major breakout season if he can handle a tag.
I was really bullish on him until I tried assembling a well balanced team, and then it became apparent I could only risk one sub super premo midfielder, and Green was the obvious front runner.

I have just after Bont.

I had to let him go, as most teams started to converge - so I’ve got two midpricers instead :straining:

I'm going to channel Ingy or is it toxic ?, and say he's past his prime, better options elsewhere, his big head will get in the way of playing good footy, etc,

My M2 ? hmmm, well I am a Carlton nuffie.

I have Green, but if I only had one in his age/price bracket, it wouldn't be him.

No, I don't mean Warner

Currently my M2 - PC if fit is SC scoring the easy way

He' LS underowned given the output and the decent early prospects. 👍
Always get my timing wrong with him, personally, will stick to admiring from afar.

Any love for Duursma?

More value.

Just too inconsistent over 23 games I expect. While not starting him risks missing out on some mammoth scores, I also think he comes back to earth if you really want him mid season.

I prefer for points scored (in probably this order, although I can’t pick them like this due to $$) Oliver, Bont, Laird, Miller, Brayshaw, Macrae, Neale, Walsh on return, Petracca, Merrett, Steele.

And then for value I prefer Green and Brodie.

So makes it hard to pick him. But on same token, if you start him and I’m still absolutely bang on (I.e. he ends up 11-14th highest scorer) you’ve still done very well. Not a bad option, just not my preferred option.

Will Brodie
Christian Petracca
Andrew Brayshaw
Touk Miller
Callum Mills

Midfield jets we aren't seeing in many teams. Everyone's midfield looking the same this year. It's lame. I have Andy.
I have Andy and Touk (assuming he plays).

Had Mills most of PS but the hype around the likes of Gulden and Warner has me hesitant.

Had him most of PS, took him out after the knock in the PS game and just kinda assumed he wouldn’t be available round 1 so never put him back in. Obviously he will be playing but I like my current setup so I doubt I take him.

Have had Hopper in the last few weeks but found the extra $$$ to turn him into Whitfield. Giants run early is very juicy, plus more chance of him being a DEF keeper than Hopper a MID keeper.
You do you mate, but no one is picking Hopper as a keeper. He's there too make $150k+ then be hopefully a straight swap to a fallen premo.

Are we sure no one is picking him to be a keeper?

If he goes at 95-100 why can’t we keep him as M8. Has shown he can score big.

We can’t have all top scoring players in every line, if he ends up weakest link I could live with that.
