Probably doing what I’m doing, which is selling my arse for trades.

Thoughts on Steele today?

Less touches, less tackles and less TOG compared to last week

Can we take anything out of his performance today, or is it just a dead game against Norf?

He did have 11 touches in the 3rd quarter today

BE of 75, tough game coming up (Adelaide in Adelaide), you would expect him to start rising
In a game which was in the 5 lowest this yr for stoppages due to North's keeping off you're not going to be suited as an inside mid who lives on tackles and clearances. 59 hitouts this game when other games were in the 80s/90s.

Think he's fine, Crows have the second highest stoppage numbers in the game and most repeat stoppages so it should be a contested matchup that suits him this week. Obvs the risk longer term is the shoulder but his tackling numbers suggest he has enough confidence in it

Yeah not unhappy at all he dropped a 95, keeps some coaches away. Less than 80% TOG, had 7 tackles, 9 clearances at 80%, absolutely cruised in an easy win.

I'm wanting him for the back half of the season when Saints play 5 of their last 6 at Marvel.

Yeah , I was going to get Brayshaw but decided to go with Steele instead. He has a pretty juicy run home as you say.

I'm backing Mills to be better than those two from here on in

I rekon I've found just enough $$$ to get Parish. He always finds plenty of ball. Doesn't cop tags. Good run of games coming up for the Bombers too.
I’m eyeing off Parish too.
Draw eases up after Brisbane game, most tags go to Merrett and playing for a new contract or even a new club.

Those who have watched a lot of the Lions this year, particularly Neale, what's the go with him? Very down from past seasons. Is it just age? He'll be 30 in 1.5 weeks.

$575k with a BE of 155, he'll be juicy after his bye in round 13.

Anybody else interested in Neale post-bye, or should we stay clear for some reason?

He's not a one man band anymore. Brisbane a far better TEAM this year

I dunno to me doesn't seem to work as hard as he did before. Could possibly have been carrying a niggle. He worked into the game on the weekend and finished well though.

I'm definitely interested post his bye.

I had him last year and he was very inconsistent. His average was padded with a few huge games. He's only had one of those this year.

Agree with the comment about no longer being a one-man band. Dunkley is going to cap him.

I haven't researched it, but I think he's one that tends to be better in the first half of seasons. Might pay to check that if you are serious about him.

Rowell a legitimate option if you can't afford Anderson?

Great bye is enticing
I'm considering him.

A few things to consider:

Just missed a spike game against the Eagles, and he's already played the Roos. Does not play either of them again.

If you remove his high and low outliers, he's averaging 102.

Stats are up this year, getting more kicks.

TOG is great, very high.

Seems like 105 average is his max. So he's a bit of a safe, boring pick to help over the byes.

The big score against the Eagles is probably clouding our judgement.
