Chad Warner at 484k, real good value imo.

Parker same price, more consistent, looked good both role and form the last couple - of the two I'd probably lean to him as the safer value pick.

80k more you can get Mills, it has to turn for him eventually, right? Everyone jumping on Steele, I might go the pod

Mills may well keep averaging where he currently is or even dip further is he stays in defence - he'd be great value if he got his usual role back soon and kept it for the rest of the year.

I reckon his time in defence is done.

Tom McCartin isn't injured
Blakey is playing taller
Fox will return this week after concussion
Francis has come into the side
Melican is playing VFL this week, returning from injury (can be a long term Paddy replacement)

The concern now is his wing time.

But even with 50-60% CBAs, Mills can go ~110

Good call I suspect, forgot Fox was only a concussion and based on the last fortnight they won't be shy about playing Blakey in a 3rd tall role.

Im tossing up between him, Steele and Anderson as an upgrade for Hollands. I am just not sure on Steele and his abiity to keep playing with his shoulder, one big tackle, that could be it. Anderson, is he proven? Probably not. I think I will go with the one with the lowest ownership.

There are several guys who are having nightmare SC seasons so far, SOME of which will find their way back to 100+. I'm not brave enough, yet.

Orrie Wines $406k down $174k for the year. Averaging 71  after 3 straight years of 105+.
Hewett $486k down $126k. Averaging 88, injury-impacted, coming off a 110+ year.
Suitcase going at 74 after 3 straight seasons over 100.
Parker has 5 straight years over 100, but always dips at some point. Is this that dip?
Mills haemorraged $108k going at 97 in Mr Fixit roles... I reckon he drops a few 140s on us all soon.

Wines nope

Hewett yep. Interrupted preseason. Looks to be fit again. He'll start pumping out 100s.

Luggage nope

Parker nope

Mills yep. Should be no more defence time. Now it's just wing and on-ball.

I was a Dal Santo's dick away from getting in Hewett this week, probably still going to bring him in the next few rounds

Hewett screams trap to me. One good game this year vs WC. Too many injuries over his career to trust.

My thoughts are different on Hewitt.
The numbers so far suggest that he's kicking the ball way less than last year.

Hollands, and probably more Acres look to be eating into a decent part of Hewitt's game and scoring from last season.

With Mills, is he any hope of DPP? Because he seems to have lived down back the last few weeks, would be a tasty D3 for the run in as a POD if he is back in the guts by then!

I'm about a Robin Nahas length away from Hewett. Will not be considered.

I ve been pretty keen to bring him but he just looks so flat some weeks.

Has he had a new kid lately? Kinda looks like a guy not getting enough sleep or something.-at least by his previous high standards

Sometimes you look at a player for faults, when they're not playing well .....but Neale looked heavier than I remember last year, and not covering the ground as quickly

He was largely unseen in the 2nd half .....a trait that's become oh too common in recent seasons

Brisbane also seem to play a low possession game. They like to keep the ball going forward.

Blues have a big midfield, if he ain’t getting the ball around the source his output is limited.

Commentators also mentioned this when discussing Cripps performance .....ball was in motion a lot, with fewer ball-ups ....would have also impacted Neale, who likes more of a stoppage game

Quite a few inside mids scoring is down so far this season, maybe to do with teams generally playing a bit faster, bit less on contested? Less chances for tackles, and a few cheap marks around the ground.

Neale also has a few other negatives, namely Dunkley and Ashcroft stealing points, and he's about to turn 30 so likely to drop off a bit.

Don't think he's quite ready for the knackers yard yet though, if he gets cheap enough I'll look at him after his bye.

rough calcs - he'll drop to $600k with a BE around 150 - could be mid 500's in a couple of weeks

Neale was hard to watch last night as an owner, just didn't seem to crack in like Dunks did. I do think he was scored harshly though, reckon his overall stats deserved at least an 80. Been reasonably good so far this year, non-owners are gonna grab themselves a bargain in a few weeks!
