After having Butters the previous 2 seasons - Rozee>Butters

Six of one, half a dozen of the other. I think they are both overrated.

Dunkley was a 108 ave for $596 ....could go 115 this year

Titch, yes is $70K cheaper ....whats he go, 105 ? ....a lot are thinking 110 min ?

So, I have Butters, Taranto & Cameron (F1-F3) .....Am I prepared to give up the DPP of Cameron, who'll likely also be a 105 average player ....to get Titch

Main thing with Cameron was late in the season he ran out of gas. Was running on empty. Another preseason you'd think will improve his endurance.

There is No guarantee that he will have better endurance and No guarantee that he will be the No1 Ruck

Last year Taranto had a bad back ....the year B4 he averaged 97 .....surely he can go 105 at RICH ?

Because he is a bull butcher & Tigers historically aren’t SC friendly

To play devils advocate, Richmond aren't a high scoring SC team. And they also signed Hopper, who will take a few of his points. And I've heard he butchers the ball a bit.

yeah. to be fair. he hasnt really shown that hes capable of much more than a 100avg previously. no real history of going 105.

but. this history is from predominantly playing as a fwd right?

move to a new team. fire in the belly. point to prove. guaranteed midfield role. surely his avg can lift by at least 5ppg. with the change in role id almost give it 10ppg. this would take it to a 103-107 average. and for 500k ill take that.

where as with rozee.. only really bursted out onto the scene last season with a 93 average. for that price id want a guaranteed 100avg. not someone who scores 70 one week and 110 the next.

taranto the safer options > rozee who youd be banking on going up a notch and finding some high quality consistency.

Doesn't Dunkley also butcher the ball ....I see a lot of similarities in the gamestyles of Dunkley and Taranto

Dunkley is a far superior SC player, a quick glance at their records shows that. Dunkley also got played out of position like Taranto. Could easily go 120+ imo. Don't see Taranto having that ceiling.

I agree ....can see Taranto at 105 ave though

Will depend on Prestia's ability to stay on-field .....him back killed Shorts scoring last year

Yep, we're definitely comparing Taranto and Rozee because they are both mid eligible.

It's no big deal, it's just that there's a certain mod who can be a tad pedantic about threads staying on topic.

Something about casuals being able to easily find information after the convos have gone cold.

Understand the point you're making ....but all the players being discussed are Mid available ....yes though, most looking for info on Taranto, Dunkley, Butters, and Rozee, would look in the FWD's thread

Who scores more Dunkley or Titch ....can't have both, so need to decide

This is a massive call, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Dunkley is in the Oliver/Neale/Miller/Macrae super super premo next year. The bloke honestly does it all and won’t be behind Liber, Bont, Macrae, Treloar and Smith anymore.

Brisbane’s midfield outside of McGluggage (doesn’t need a heap of it to be a gun) and Neale is very meh. From a sc view atleast.

a bang on 90 average midfielder. past 3 seasons all 90 average. first two seasons was a 60+ avg.

23 years young. lots of opportunity at carlton to prove himself. some very juicy scores posted last season with a subbed off 5 impacting his avg.
