Clarko did okay with a bunch of one sided lefties at Hawthorn.

Errol Gulden goes alright at 175 cm... predominantly one sided ..mchercher is 181 he can kick both feet.but why not use that laser left with the pace he has...great fit for us... I'd also be happy if we took Darcy Wilson with a later pick.if still on the board..Gut runner with pace .can kick both feet.take a mark...and kicks goals...fwd / back or wing..midfield...versatile player.

Guys and gals, if you time, I thought this interview/podcast episode with Nick Watson was quite good. Wasn't intending to watch the whole thing when I clicked on it but ended up watching the full 40 mins:

Seems to have a good head on his shoulders, talks about what it was like coming up through school footy, playing for Eastern, dealing with increased media attention and online abuse/trolls. Also at around the 27 min mark the host asks who his top 5 clubs he'd want to go to are, we're one of them.

Been thinking about it all year, but I actually still quite like him as a potential pick for us. He just seems like he would fit in well at the club, dealt with adversity and people doubting him virtually his whole career but has shown that he has the maturity (and undeniable talent) to be able to handle most things that come his way.

Didn't go lights out this year, but also didn't think he was far off from dominating most games if things just went his way a bit more or if he just kicked a little straighter. I'm no draft watcher but just going off videos of him, the way he plays you'd mark him down for at least 30-40 goals every season (and that's just the ones he draws from head high free kicks haha).

Don't know how we manage it, but I do hope we can somehow bring this kid onboard in November. Just for the fact that it'll kill me seeing him kick bags upon bags of goals somebody else for the next 10-12 years.

I'd love murphy or his type with our 2 picks in the teens.
Imagine being able to sure up our key defender stocks in a single year under a new coach.
Would make things pretty interesting

Dunno how...

But if we end up with reid, Watson and O'Sullivan that's be the perfect draft IMO

Trade 2, 14 and future 19 for 1?

Trade future 19, 40, 52 and future 20 for GC 5?

Have 1, 3, 5.

Maybe even split 3 if melboutne would?
Get 1, 5, 6, 13.

Myriad of options.

Other I'd like is super trade

North 1 and 5
WC 2 and 3
GC 20, 34, 19pp

6 (Watson/O’Sullivan)
13 (Murphy/Croft)

I could get behind that.

What does hawthorns second pick move from with our pick 19 assistance this year? Having a debate with a hawks mate about the implications to his club

It moves back 1 due to our pick.

It'll move back another six or so due to other clubs, including probably themselves as they have a father son in the late first round.
