One pick back for our PP between R1 and R2. One more if Mackay leaves and we get compensation. So potentially dropping two picks due to extra North picks, but more than that depending on other F/S and northern academy bids. Also you can refer to the detailed table in the draft assistance thread to note Hawthorn’s far more extensive gains from the same system over the journey.

You would think GC would have to have some picks inside 30 that will bring that Hawks 2nd rounder back in a couple.

Technically true but i tend to view those academy players as not even in the draft. Nobody other than the Northern states will get a look in.

Tell him that we are negotiating with GwS for their pick #6 giving us 2,3,5 and 6 by doing these trades

Trade 1 Pick 3 is Ben Mckays compenastion pick
Trade2 We trade 14 Ports 1st , 19 this season (assistance pick) and 39 this season to GC for Pick 5
Trade 3 We then trade our Future 2nd ,2024 pick 19 and 2024 pick 20 (both assistance picks)to GWS for their pick 6 and Haynes (salary dump)

Like the trade of #14+#19 (1161+915=2109) to GC for their pick 5 (1878) which gives them a surplus of 231 points but l'd try and haggle #14+F#20 (2073) which gives them only a 195 surplus and keeps our present #19 and F#19
Trade #3 & #5 for WCE #1 which leaves us with #1,2,19,39,58,59,76 plus F#19...WCE goes from #1,#19 to #3,#5 keeping their #19
OR we just stay with #2,#3 and #5...really depends on whether WCE really want Reid or how much do we want Reid aka Cadman and GWS last year?

West Coast will want either Reid or Curtin so our pick #2 would have to part of a deal and not pick#3..
