It would be a hoot if they ran out of acceptable trade options and then took Curtin, leaving us to walk away with Reid and Mckercher. We could then grab some popcorn and sit back to watch the Weagles fanbase implode. Unfortunately too good to be true.

Unsure if you're saying this as a positive or negative. I see it as neither.

Jacob Edwards had unique attributes in that he attempted to do everything on a football field without making body contact!

More realistically - & arguably similarly - Jarrad Grant (taken with pick 5 in 2007... From memory, by Scott Clayton!) also had very unique attributes.

Right,,,,,well,,,,hmmmmm.....as someone who is against trading up for him and going in with the picks we have......ummm.....just getting the humble pie out of the freezer. mmmm tastes good.

A lot have made mention of whether or not he can build a tank worthy of being a full time mid at AFL level.......well almost who cares.........the only player I can compare him to based purely on those highlights is Gary Ablett SNR. Does that translate to AFL level in the modern game? Maybe, maybe not, but if does, and he can build a tank to go with what's there, then he's a very unique player (not to get too carried away but the best of Ablett snr and jnr ???....yeah I know that's getting too carried away but I get the hype) and to an extent negates the need for another KPF ......yeah I'd be pretty happy with the trade proposal of 2, 2 teens picks, and 1 and 23 coming back.

That of course is based purely on just watching those clips and could be well off the mark.

They want McKercher and think we rate him above Reid as well??? No effing idea really but sure doesn't make much sense, the old sam faff needs to start thinking before he X''s, tweets, or whatever you call it these days, but just comes off looking like a twit.

hmmm.....only common denominator I get out of that is that seems all clubs have preferences over Curtin BUT is seems Sanders have several clubs who'll pounce if gets to them.

My only negative on mckercher was just seems not to have any sort of right foot from the clips ive seen.....and I hate to say it, but was having polec flashbacks with his insistence of getting onto his left from the footage ive seen. Otherwise huge potential.

l'm in that camp also..l think they want mckercher but dont want to use pick #1 thats why they want our pick#2 and a lot more..to try and make out that they got the better deal...

In that sensational scenario I'd trade back if the Dees were really keen on getting in front of the pack. I'd anticipate Curtin or Watson being there.

The Hawthorn premiership teams were stacked full of left footers with no discernible right foot. I think we can handle one.

It's possible, but you'd think north would have to honour the offer of 2 plus two of the picks in the teens - taking a lesser offer at 5 minutes to midnight would leave them open to as much or more ridicule as taking Curtin at 1
