I think you guys should for sure target the Cats 1st. 15 and 17 or 18 will likely get it done if it’s true Geelong do indeed want more picks.

Go to to the draft with 2,3,8 and one of 17 or 18

McKercher at 2, Duursma, Curtin or Watson at 3, O’Sullivan or Caddy at 7, BPA at 17-18.

North will make a play for Reid. Not sure what works though. Very curious to watch leading up to draft. Not sure deal gets done until draft pick trade though.

I personally would rather go into the draft with 4 picks inside top 4 over reid IMO

I’ve suggested several Reid trades in different threads. I enjoy all discussions about what we might do and even what you guys might do with your draft hand.

I’m not sure why everything needs to be so hostile.

I suspect we’ll hear about a new offer by Friday, potentially even tomorrow.

I tend to agree. I mean, if we can go into this draft knowing the best players are all sub 30 picks, we could trade up for 8 giving us 2,3,8,15 - do we even need anything else? LOAD UP hard while we can.

Standard negotiations. North offer was terrible. Eagles first demand was terrible. Only time we know the trade definitely won’t happen is when both clubs stop talking.
Eagles getting 3 picks in first round to move back 1 is my gut feel where it lands.

For North it’s mckertcher. Strong links for a long time. Assumption has still been Curtin to Eagles at 2.

Not opposed to reading back with Dees if they wanted to go up to 3 for 6-11

There are some seriously strange people on this board, myself included. For whatever reason, a screen causes some people to revert to childhood bully levels of animosity and self awareness. Honestly, it's so manically biased on this board (and other teams', I'd presume), I'd recommend you avoid too much debate, for your own peace

I wasn't even singling you out it's just a common trend with WC fans. I've never seen so many fans from 1 team come to our boards to throw up suggestions that aren't trading for their 1 pick.
