This was always the fear, that he'd turn the ball over repeatedly when faced with a good defense.

Shanahan is not doing him or the team any favours with his shitty play calling, but Purdy has been atrocious. Some will point to the fact the INTs were batted balls but at least one of them was completely his fauit.

Now they're behind they'll continue with the pass-heavy offense no doubt, when all they need to do is establish the CMC run game. You know, the game that establishes the pass game properly and has got you to this position in the first place......

More than a few people on here (myself included) have put forward that it should be CMC or Tyreek in a year with no outstanding QB.

One of the hits against CMC is apparently that he hasn't scored enough TDs. Maybe if he scores a handful over the next couple of weeks that might put him in the conversation.

I'm biased but he's the best player on the field for SF almost every week, and most defenses have no clue how to stop him. I don't think he needs to break records to be awarded MVP but we'll see.
