I don't think Lance ever showed what Lamar did at a comparative age/experience level, but I agree it might have been worth persevering with. Making the trade up to get him in the first place was the bad decision, but it's been compounded since.

Difficult to argue against most of that. They ****ed up initially then compounded the mistake. If Purdy plays like he is today in big games in January, then they’ll have wasted the window with a pretty talented team.
