00 semi at mcg - we flogged them
09 Gabba - brisbane late come back to beat us

That’s 5 finals, all going to the home side.

96 was hilarious. I was there. We kept kicking behinds and I was shouting out that we only needed another 60 of those and we'd be right. It was funnier knowing that it would all count for nothing and we'd had a home final against West Coast the following week, while Brisbane had to travel. They were screwed over.

09 .... first goal of the last and we are 30 up. Bradshaw and Brown against Thornton and Bower. One of our guys was limping badly, basically lame. Can't remember which one it was now. 6.5 to 0.4 and we were done. So cruel.

I believe it was Cameron Cole that put us SIX goals up. It was Bower on one leg in the final quarter. We had no one left on the bench. Cost us a final.

Not one for Omens but.
When I was at the shop I saw the AFL Yowie eggs for sale so I decided to buy one.
I rummaged and rummaged through them saying to myself "I am going to get the premiership winner I am going to get the premiers".
When I got home I got the Yowie egg and opened it really nice chocolate by the way, you wouldn't believe it I got a team that is still alive but I'm not going to tell you which one I got.

PS: I'm going to add the Yowie to my Carlton memorabilia collection so here's hoping in my psychic ability

Yes it was Cloke that kicked the first. I was behind the goals. Bower had been good until then but he was made to stay on.

We really should have moved bodies into defence to stem the tide.

I understand and respect everyone has a valid opinion but bro......Cottrell out?? Surely not. He was our best vs Sydney. Almost impossible for a high half forward to dominate week in week out. i actually heard Voss talk about how much we missed him when injured earlier this season. Even if he's not getting the ball his defensive running is vital.

I noticed a few have Cincotta going out of the side. I just can't see it happening TBH. Cincotta will lock down on whichever of Bailey or Rayner is playing forward at the time. That will allow Saad and Newman to focus on working their magic.

I hope Hollands plays as we need to run especially on a dry warm evening in Brisbane. Tempted to play Dow as well
