Toss up between Fyfe and Yeo depending on which downgrade options you like. Yeo has missed even more games through injury than Fyfe over the last few years.

Wonder if you could go in with a team like that on the basis ($0 funds available), and should a killer rookie pop up, that you choose the worst performing midpricer and downgrade them.

Always. If I have more than 10k in the bank Round 1 I reckon I'm doing it wrong

I'm pretty set on something like this, I'm expecting three of Coffield, Wilmont, Wagner and McKenna to score decently to save money in defence.
Also hoping Young and Yeo to score well. Taking a reverse pod on missing Ashcroft as he may miss games and be a sub.

I'm not starting Piggy this year because it sounds like he's still having issues with the hand he injured late last year. Will be my first upgrade target most likely. Archie Perkins playing pure mid for the bombers. if he scores well pre season I'll take him ahead of Fyfe. If you are set on starting with piggy, then Fyfe or Yeo would be the two I would be happy to let go for more coin. Both likely to go twang at some point.

I was thinking about Clarry. Going down to Touk does give some funds which could be handy (no pun intended).

Not sold on Witts, but then if we all shared the same opinion this would be pretty boring wouldn't it. Had a charmed run last year, playing against nobodies. Don't see him replicating those scores. Reckon there's better value elsewhere.

My latest team iteration has me with ZERO $ in the bank .....a damn fine effort of manipulation, to get to "0"

Yeah HH is there hoping they will settle him in as a defender. Bargain at 500k if he gets that 7th defender role again.

Marshall is obviously a option if I don't like the look of Grundy or Lycett. Daniels and Bruce can be swapped for rookies if I need $$$.

He's definitely not a value pick, he's the pick you choose when every other viable option has too many caveats and you don't want to spend the season wasting trades on rucks.
