I honestly feel sick. This is closest to the low point of supporting a club which has delivered some pretty spectacular low points.

A 5 goal loss to depleted opposition, when we managed to kick 6 ourselves is telling. 6 losses in 7 matches, with the win being against a WAFL team. This is a team with almost zero injuries, in its prime, at the culmination of an 8 year rebuild. It is almost unfathomable.

The gameplan and structure was horrendous. The complete overemphasis on defensive structures that don't hold up anyway. The constant long kicks to the same spot. The complete lack of correct positioning at contests, whether we win the ball or lose it.

The team selection was horrendous. Dropping our full back completely threw out the defensive system. Playing a second ruckman and plonking them in the exact same hole we bomb the ball too every time we have possession.

The skill execution by the players was horrendous. It looks like they haven't practiced at all. Players who used to show reasonable skills just hack the ball onto the boot, miss handballs to players a foot away.

I honestly can't think of a single positive - except that next week we play on Friday night and I've got a function on and won't be able to watch the game.

Compared to …?
... everything?

We had no reason to lose that one. We did not play worse than our opposition; had some of our shots sailed through the way theirs did, we'd have won that by a similar margin. We cannot blame umpires or our opponents for once; we absolutely should've won that.

We won contested ball by a significant margin. We had plenty of shots at goal. Our two pronged front half kicked 1.6.

We had every reason, based upon pure shot data, to think we should win the game.

I also question why one needs to explain emotion to another human being.

Jesus. Where do we go from here?
I don't think sacking Voss is the answer. It is deeper than that.

This is soul searching sort of stuff for the club now.
Normally you'd blame the coach but Bolton, Teague and now Voss, there's a constant and it's not the coaching staff

Sydney missing the below players and beat us by 5 goals.
Can we sack the list & draft 40 players mid-season? At least those blokes might give a sh1t.
Edit - And Patty McCartin.

How ******* terrible is
We have a terrible and what appears to be insurmountable lack of confidence.

You could see them trying to take the game on - just couldn’t without turning it over.

Charlie trying so hard couldn’t kick straight. Thank the universe for him.

Poor Harry wants to hide in a hole.

How to turn this mess around?

If anyone can genuinely justify our game plan I’d love to hear it.
I'll have a crack.... just give me a couple of days to try and work out what our game plan is..

How ******* terrible is that..
It's the truth.
And it hurts.
