As a famous Cork person Roy Keane once said take that you c**t. That saying sums up my feelings towards the Eagles right now. 108 points take that you c***s!

The Eagles are by far my most hated interstate team, so yeah to go over there and take them apart in their own backyard, is a very satisfying evenings work indeed.

I felt at the start of the season, that this team will either finish just inside the eight or just outside it. So far i see no reason to change that opinion. Well done to Vossy and the players, hopefully the corner has been turned now.
Am someone who grew up in Perth as a Carlton supporter, I share your sentiment. Social media has been eerily quiet this year with the form the Eagles and Dockers are in.

Great win against a poor team but no one else is beating them as comprehensively as we just did

Port beat them 109-69 in Adelaide

Geelong beat them 136-89 in Geelong

Melbourne beat them 126-63 in Perth

But for us the true tests are coming in Brisbane, Bulldogs and Collingwood

I get that but was their injury toll as bad as it was last night?

Nice to see so much positivity on here for a change. WCE are in a pretty woeful state, so it isn’t a huge yardstick win in and of itself, but compared to 3 weeks ago when we only beat North (also a pretty ordinary side) by a bit over three goals it’s a hell of a lot better.

Seven games into the season and we haven’t beaten a side currently in the top 8. That worries me enough to not get too carried away on the back of last night.

Having said that I’ll take a 100+ point win anytime - can’t say I’ve seen too many of them over the years!
Geelong will be in the 8 in about 8 hours time

All week we’ve been hearing it’s a danger game, Carlton under the most pressure, 50/50 over in Perth etc etc

This win & the manner of the win was cathartic for most - shows we can concentrate for a full game, we can play with speed on the ball & connect we’ll forward of the ball.

Valve released for a week at least :).

I can’t wait for our game against Brisbane on Friday.

Saad & Doc back so important.

Hard nut Motlop back this week will help. Owies a possible in?

Having Gov fit and playing like he is - the backline looking better.

We need Owies & Motlop back to improve our balance.

I think my single favourite moment of the game was Cincotta on the far wing in the first quarter.

Great spoil from behind on the lead, overtakes his opponent to be at the drop of the ball first, picks the ball up cleanly still at top speed, breaks away with pace and then hits Charlie on the chest with a near perfect pass inside 50.

There aren’t many players at Carlton that can even do that.

I'd just like to pass on my congratulations to Charlie Curnow, following his 13 point win over West Coast.

Good to see a ruthless Blues side that not only seized the opposition by the throat, but clean ripped it out Rambo style.

Cerra is genuinely beginning to become an A-Grader and display all that potential I saw in him as a junior.

Newman has been awesome all year.

Hopefully, just hopefully, we're starting to get rolling. :thumbsu:

He had a great game.

Last night he went to a new level - nice to see.

Very clean under his knees.

Let the team down not winning by 19!
We've got a West Coast fan at work, who tipped the Eagles this week - he'll be copping heaps tomorrow!!!

I noticed an overcorrection in sharing the ball through the midfield which isn't a bad thing as it meant players were running harder to play the linkage role. Hopefully it is now the beginning of players running hard to provide the overlap. No doubt Docherty and Saad added to that but other players were doing it as well

You still need the right balance with running capacity. If Ed is omitted this week, Cotts would be a better replacement

Can't agree when you've got headless blokes like Fish (horribly out of form) and Honey (how can he keep getting picked) running around doing SFA.

Want more run? Binns for Fisher, Cotters/Mots for Honey.

Some are saying Hollands might need a rest too?

Plonk Kennedy up forward when not in the guts....he's a legitimate target, great mark and loads of footy smarts.

And thanks to you for beating the Aints.
