I am trading out Clarry + Roberts to Merrett + Sinclair/Stewart.

Thoughts on Sinclair vs Stewart?

It was meant to be both of those two in, but now Clarry is out has thrown a small spanner in the works. I could potentially hold Clarry but I would like to push top 1k again this year.

I have 3 to trade out after (Ashcroft, Humphrey, Atkins) to have a full team of premos with 14 trades (2 boosts) remaining.

Stewart. More consistent role, better bye and scoring potential (IMO). Seven more games at GMHBA, too.

Is bringing in Docherty here difficult as it gives you 8 premos in R15 bye? May be worth considering a R12 premo instead this week as it looks like your best round at this point. Could go with a Brayshaw/Serong instead of Docherty here to give you more points in R15 and hopefully avoid a donut there.

Just food for thought as that looks like your worst bye round and flipping Jelly may be a good time to shore up the byes (especially with everyone's bench players having the worst year of job security ever).

Yeah. Trading the second best SC player in the game for a guy averaging 94 and a guy averaging 84 is not the play. Neither will be overly close to the top 10 in defense.

Not a perfect science obviously, but based off the averages of who you're trading, statistically you're making your team worse.

I get playing around with scenarios (hell, I even considered trading those two for Brayshaw and Ridley in a weaker moment), but don't do it. Not to mention their bye is awful.

If you're trading Oliver, it needs to be for a top-liner who presents good value. Think whoever you don't have out of Laird, Zerrett, Neale etc

Forward line has been completed for 2 weeks - 3 upgrades to go excl Sheezel and Ashcroft (Ashcroft will be upgraded 100%)

I’m 10K short trading Greene > Humphrey and I haven’t even thought about the bye rounds. Just staring at my team not knowing what to do.

Okay, after reading the trades thread I’m leaning towards the following:
Oliver > Merrett
Greene > Humphrey
16 trades, 2 boosts and $66k remaining.

Oliver to Sicily for me I think. Want to bring in Sic and now's the best time, and should have cash to bring Oliver back in later if he looks ok post injury. Also takes away some of the stress of waiting for him for multiple weeks
