Pretty much the first time I've ever seen TDK play and I walked away thinking - this guy can actually play.

Good on him and should he desire to leave come season's end, efforts like today certainly will push up his price!
He won't be going anywhere.
Good that he is starting to get the required fitness. Still young for a ruckman.

Confused Season 3 GIF by The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Six pages, for a 10 goal win, after the last two months?

Where is everyone?
I was on the golf course. Haven’t watched game yet…what’d I miss?

There was trade talk, wanting to get rid of him and losing the captaincy!!! Skip puts his body through hell for this club, it’s okay if he has a couple rough weeks!!! The effort is always there with Crippa
With respect, no it's not, if it was no one would be thinking about his role going forward or thinking back on when he had a major role in coach sackings.

The reasons may be legitimate but he's not like Pendlebury, delivering a consistent high level, week-in-week-out.

Finally kicked straight and built momentum off the back of it, probably a month too late for it to happen but lets see if we can't build some form and confidence off the back of it and play some good football for the rest of the year.

For how much of a disaster this year has been if we can get back to playing well enough to pick off a couple of (Port, Pies, Saints, Demons) and make some changes at the end of the year to fix what went wrong i'll be content enough.

With respect, how do you know what he does to prepare himself each week, the toll it takes on his body, how hard he works during the game and the effort he puts in? And “major role in coach sackings” you know this as fact or we basing this on bigfooty talk and rumour?? Comical

In my opinion the difference today was two things

A fitter team with a bit more skill and pace in general than we have been able to field in a long time.
And a team that has bonded around the idea of playing for each other and that stopped worrying so much about the result and focussed on the football for each minute of the match.

Didnt see any difference in style (or so called gameplan) except we kicked goals instead of points.
Amazing what a few goals will do.
Disagree. A very noticeable change in game plan. Players running hard to take the short diagonal kicks. Players running on the diagonal overlap to receive the handball. We stopped playing the long bombs to the wings where you'd normally find Harry and Charlie.

We lowered our eyes inside 50, often trying to find the shorter option instead of bombing it to the two talls. It was actually a very noticeable change.

Needed that nourishment.

Played with heart and intent.

Hopefully we can regroup after the bye and keep playing attacking entertaining footy.

If we lose whilst playing a good brand of footy so be it.

Hit your opposition hard. Hit them often.

Hit the scoreboard frequently and put the pressure on the other team.

Run and over lap. Forward release handball

Finals are all but out of the equation but let's get some momentum going into next year.

Intensity, effort, tackling, work rate,
pressure acts
Were elite for the first time in a very long time
And the other thing that I really noticed today was how we really got around each other like when i player was on the ground there team mates really made a point of getting over a picking them up. Today was a game where all of those things have to be the our minimum standard and a non negotiable

If you think Cripps delivers consistently as a player and a captain then I think we take very different things from watching games.

Let's leave it at that.
