Need help please. Im really torn on which one to get. My first trade is flanders to zeebz locked. My 2nd trade is getting either daicos or setterfield. Which one of those would u get first. Have the bank for both and structure is similiar for either one. Im leaning towards naicos cause he seems more like a sure thing. Im sure some are thinking get one this week and the other next but soo much could happen next week i wont have the chance. So please who u guys think is the play for now.

Get Daicos. Likely keeper and no injury history.
Setters going ok but not likely to be a keeper.

It's definitely going to be one that defines people's seasons - like Hewett and Brodie last year

It's 27 now, so definitely worth the in, then re visit once DPP's hit. More a hopeful 100k and seemingly more likely to get that than Sheed over the next month.

I had a terrible start, injuries, players that bombed, not in the running for a top position but still having fun. Hoping to trade in a couple of money makers/high scorers after this round. 169k in the bank. I like Stocker and M Wood. Thoughts?

By culling Phillipou to a basement rook (Roberts from Sydney?) I can get Uwland up to Crozier/Stocker. Is that worth it?

I'm in the odd position of not really knowing what to do with my team. Any major changes would require culling a premo but my worst performers are Bont/Rozee/Dunkley - and chopping one of those feels rash at this stage.

Maybe it will be a moot point after selection.

Thoughts on the following options?
1. Macrae & Sheed to Setters & Ziebel + 250k
2. Macrae & Mackenzie to Setters & Ziebel
3. Sheed & Mackenzie to Setters & Bytel (if named)

I'm leaning #2 at the moment as it gets a rookie in Mackenzie off the field. Obviously not ideal going early on trading him but could be a POD if most others have him on field and he struggles. #3 would be most appealing if I was confident in Macrae's role moving forward, but it is really hard to trust and he could just bleed cash.

Probably comes down to who you think will be the better long term pick vs how long Setterfield will be able to keep up his current mojo.

Thoughts on Rozee to LDU and Macrae to Laird with 53k left over?
Having only 53k left over worries me a bit with my defence looking like:

Doch, Daicos, Day, Constable, Ginbey, Wilmot

My midfield would look:

Laird, LDU, Green, DeGoey, Rowell, Worpel, Ashcroft, Mackenzie

honestly wouldnt surprise me if sheezel got the tag.... that being said, as an LDU owner, ive watched him both games and he has been super damaging...not just a good fantasy player. My money would still go the LDU tag

Uwland and Chesser seem like sub risks is the problem. All my rooks play Saturday too.

McVee I don't see as a sub type but reckon he holds, they're using him as a lock down defender.

Backline is an absolute dog's breakfast, so thinking of the following trades:

1. JHF/Calla > Daicos/Hollands - After trading out Hollands last round, getting him back is a bit backward.
2. JHF/Phillipou > Daicos / $200K Rookie - Miss out on Hollands, but at least keep Calla.
3. JHF/Macrae > Daicos / Setterfield - It seems the go with everyone on this board, but Bevo can suck my balls. Trading JHF over Calla, still has some $$ to be made.

Leaning towards option 3. But if any word of Setterfield missing and/or Bevo is sticking Macrae as a pure mid (lolol), I'll switch to option 1.

I usually wait till close to the byes to start ranking by avergae. It would feel to strange to have Sheezel at M1 or Daicos above Doch at this point, averages can change so quickly i like to give it at least a 5+ week sample size before I start to sort by it.

Fair call. Each to their own. Was nice to see Laird climb back from M8 to M2 this week. Brodie was ave M7 R1 and then M8 R2 while having the M3 value and has started like poo and then backed it up with another out of bounds and so gets the chop for me. Dunks wouldn't want to keep under performing.

Worst case scenario, you will have four rounds of byes with 3 trades and ideally you will have done a great job building value with your rooks - you can always get him (Daicos) then - don't sweat it, find your best balance between points and building coin.
