I’m all for Tassie coming in, but this 19th team is bullshit. Talent pool already spread so wide and big gaps between teams. The AFL should just admit GC will never work and relocate them.

18/1811 (C)
Disappointments:
Dylan Moore, looks like I made a bad choice there for a POD
Greene, the Fungus variety
Grundy with the shocking first quarter, would have gone 100+ easily if he hadn't botched a few marks

Surprises:
Chandler and Callaghan, keep mooing
New recruit Cincotta, put him on field as a replacement for Laird as I suspect he will be a late out and I couldn't loophole thanks to Pou

To come: Merrett, Redman, Stewart, Daicos

Seeing quite a few 2500+ predictions in leagues, was just going off that, Naicos and a few others predicted for enormous scores might be skewing reality a bit.

Logged out now, but IIRC my prediction was 2555.
Daicos and Laird predicted to go 160. Few others predicted to go big also.

A lot of the high predicted scores have like 8 players still to play. That's a lot of potential carnage.

My thoughts is that 2400 will end up being par.

The two teams in my league with projected scores over 2600 have Laird, Daicos, Taranto and Dawson, which total a projected 561. Unfortunately for me, I also have all those players, so I guess I catch the teams above me with a big score from Samson Ryan.

Yeah I'm not going 2400 .
But 2300 some ting.
Maybe

For the past couple of weeks I've thought that prior to Rd 3 I did these set of trades:

Macrae -> Naicos
Bruhn -> Worpel
Chesser -> Ziebell

All of them are a tick, but the second one cost me Chandler. "Points on field," I rationalised. It's a maddening thought to think that if I'd gone Chandler instead of Worpel and fielded him every week, I would be $100k richer in terms of cash gen, and only 12 points poorer.

Hindsights always easy but in reality he was a small forward going into rd3 against the swans with a big score in a thrashing (93 against wb) and a 70 in a loss.

Could've just as easily scored 40 a couple of times and get dropped.

I also missed him but no regrets on the thought process (even though it stings), just happens sometimes (Got Ziebell, Naicos and D Cameron FWIW)

16/1616 is fairly meh so I'm not taking Ollie's (vc) score. Only one true premo tomorrow with 5 wannabes, Hawkins, Ridley, Setterfield, Taranto and Hopper .It's been a good week for the non rookie trundlers so far.

Was a pity about Fergus and Mitchell being subbed out was a blow.

6 games into his second season he's taken over the Supercoach world as well as the AFL. The Captains % is absolutely ridiculous - and the right choice.

Still haven't quite come to terms with it, would prefer him as a VC, just another thing I've done wrong this year.
Having said that, I wouldn't be joining the 4.8% who have the VC on him this round.

I did mid-price sideways trades then too. It was a mistake, rookies must be the priority in round 3. Lesson learned.
