My recollection is that he went in for a scan expecting it he all good. But despite no further concussions since the previous scan, there had been deterioration and his doctors advised he should eliminate further risk.

Disappointing to hear that the Seed is still struggling with what appears to be concussion like symptoms according to Nicksy. I wonder whether AFC was able to gain some compensation from the AFL wr to Seeds contract like Brayshaw's club appears to be receiving.

Seed was at the height o his powers when this concussion occurred.

It likely comes down to "Do Melbourne have a target of their own they can bring in?"

They've got the rest of the season to look and say "We've got Petty's cap space and a couple of draft picks coming if we move Petty, what can we get for that?"

If they can find something good they'll move him, if not then they likely keep him and hope they can work on him for another 12 months to change his mind.
