I think it was a risk probably worth taking, to be honest, had 3 Essendon players around him and it was a certain goal unless he could somehow offload it.

Didn't work but he didn't have many options.

Is Heath any worse of a prospect than TDK? For a fraction of the cost? Different playing style, but you don’t get extra points for spectacularness.

Yeah the big appeal with TDK is that he’d make us better immediately, but it’s a hell of a price to pay in the long term when you might have a prospect that’s as good, if not better, who’s only a couple of years behind him.

And that’s before we even get to Hayes. Him and Ro might not be any worse than TDK and Ro.
