Arrow is our disposal up to the training level of other sides?
What is your view?
Not of elite caliber standards, good most of the time, ordinary in patches, certainly room for improvement in areas…
Ball movement quite good disposal/decision making and ball handling a little ordinary at times…

Yeh premiership player Oleg Markov just dosent sound right.

Not sure, haven't seen other sides train, but it seems we are trying to continue to minimise turnovers by spotting up more targets. Ball use has some pace
Arr0w, how’s Plow playing?

Played well, in contention for a back 7. From what I saw and with Gov

Plow Weitering Newman
Gov Young Saad

7th defender probably Kemp

No doubt Doc will play as a mid, but suspect more as a defensive cover

Did Cowan look far off? Like he could push for that 7th spot?

Did some good things, impressed that he wasn't just bombing long and looking for shorter targets, strong overhead

Also, difficult to assess Kemp, last 2 match sim sessions he has been playing as a KPD, rather than tge 3rd tall

Didn't notice Cincotta today

The 2 practice matches will give a better indication of who gets that 7th spot early in the season

So I guess we aren't going to fill that spot by next week's (15th Feb) SSP deadline.

But do you reward seconds performance at the expense of players performing in the ones?

Plenty of others got promoted ahead of him. Notably Setterfield, Cotterel, Plow and Lob when he got dropped, etc.

There were plenty of chances to shape the team to fit him in and our selectors kept going another way. As I said - sometimes you can find ways to get guys into the team or find ways to justify keeping them out.

Anyhow good luck to him. I just hope we give him a solid run of games in the 1s to work out if he's up to AFL level.

If he's in our best 22 then its another long year
