Compo paid for Kisnorbo. 5-800k for Geria. Popovic, Ikon released on big deals.

We should be able to hire a quality manager FFS.

Sean Dyche is looking for a job

I love when you pull numbers out of your arse, claim them as fact, and ask us all to just accept them.

Popovic left because we couldn't afford to hire a quality manager. There's no evidence we got money for Kisnorbo.

I did see somewhere that it was half a mil fee for PK. Geria for a packet of chips though.

This only exists on forums, who claim it's "reported"... but I can't for the friggen life of me find a primary source for that report.

No club is letting a manager go signed on a 3 year without compo six months into a contract - period.

Likewise if we sacked PK he would've received compo from the club. It works both ways.

Geria fee around 500k going off similar transfers in the past, possibly more.

Combined with our wage bill dropping significantly from last season (Poppaon 750k, Ikon on 1.2 million) we have money to sign a decent manager.

You've heard of Metricon/Mario Biasin? You've heard of 777? And I know you've followed the A-League for a while.

So where's all this ****ing money coming from all of a sudden? Money that we haven't had for 20 years, money that we absolutely haven't had since COVID, but that you apparently think we have stashed in the car ashtray?

And this is an austerity era even in that context!

You get rid of people cos you can't afford them, you don't then get to claim that as budget to re-spend, that's not how accounting or book-keeping works.

Geria we're alleged to be getting a particularly ripe apple for, and there's conjecture that Kisnorbo was told not to let the door hit him on the arse when he arrogantly walked in, said he wanted to move on, but that he wanted to coach the derby against CFG first.

I imagine the convo would've been with PK mate we obviously aren't letting you go in the middle of a season 6 months into a 3 year deal. But if you insist get your new employer to agree compo with us and off you go. Was probably told to **** off as soon as an agreement was made with his new club instead of letting him hang around.

See, I imagine it went "lol, as if you're abandoning us 8 weeks in and staying on to coach this week, the **** out of here you treacherous sell out. Hope CFG don't sack your arse again, cos the SHeart are the only way you'll ever work in this league again."

We're likely appointing Diles because we literally can't afford another option, and don't even have the money to do a decent recruitment.

There's no money. Our crowds were nosediving in the late 2010s. Then COVID happened. Then our major shareholder and major sponsor died. Then the global partner whom we were expecting to tip money in and eventually take over the club went **** up. There's literally no money, and even the meagre budgets we've had in recent years have ended up with the aforementioned shortfalls.

Even if we do accept your made up figures, the club is still just chasing its tail, like everyone else in the league.

There was a pretty good book written about the first 10 years of the A-League. When they/someone else writes the story of the second 10 years? In hindsight, the fact this league even survived COVID might be the greatest sporting miracle this country has seen, bigger than Bradbury, bigger than the America's Cup. The A-League should've died a dozen times by now, but COVID absolutely should've taken it out, and the reality is that every club is still chasing their tails. Every team's peak was pre-COVID, and likely none of them are financially back to where they were in 2019.

That all may be true but in the last 6 months we offloaded Poppa / Ikon wages (about 2m a season), sold Izzo, Geria & Lino.

777 are going to be forced into selling their shares and they've got only 20% anyway. Not that big of an issue.

We have the finances available to sign a quality manager, pay them what PK was receiving +20%.

Continuing to make up facts and just expecting us to believe them.

I guess you'd know better than the club how their finances look though, and what coaches are affordable.

What on earth are you on about?

We have sold Izzo, Geria & Lino in the last 12 months. That is a fact.

We reduced our wage by 2 million by not renewing Poppa & Ikon - this is also a fact.

PK had a 3 year contract that the club clearly could meet. That's a fact.

Absolutely bizarre for you to say this stuff is made up mate, are you normally like this?

Way to re-write your narrative after you were called out for making shit out before you... doubled down by making more shit up, thinking it supported the first made up shit.

I don't know why you think you know more about our finances than every reporter, podcaster and ****ing board member.

What the **** man. I'm not sure why you're carrying on like a pork chop but I've made nothing up and posted nothing but factual information in the post you just quoted.

Calling you out on this has obviously triggered you so I'm ending this nonsense.

Get a grip of yourself.
