Someone who gets every 3rd name wrong, and who never listens to a word his co-commentator says (leading to him repeating his co-commentators words 2 minutes later)?Martin is for F1 what Phill Liggett is for cycling.
Brian Taylor ??Someone who gets every 3rd name wrong, and who never listens to a word his co-commentator says (leading to him repeating his co-commentators words 2 minutes later)?
Brundle's not THAT bad...Brian Taylor ??
Oh rubbish. Anything to defend him ehh.Like every other driver......
Seriously, the belting that Max gets particularly from Hamilton fans is weird.
Would've been Bruce or Dennis I think.Brundle's not THAT bad...
Ted Kravitz & Karun Chandhok on the other hand, are every bit as bad as BT.
I'm not sure that the AFL world really has a commentator to compare with Brundle - the wise old Grandfather figure. Liggett (cycling) is close, but he's the Grandfather who lost his marbles 10 years ago figure.
Dennis more witty, Bruce more technical - but yes, those are getting closer to Brundle.Would've been Bruce or Dennis I think.
Rightly or wrongly, both are considered voices of their respective sports.Someone who gets every 3rd name wrong, and who never listens to a word his co-commentator says (leading to him repeating his co-commentators words 2 minutes later)?
Again, im not a huge fan of Max the human... his father is a different story.Oh rubbish. Anything to defend him ehh.

If Lewis made the same move you wouldnt have heard a peep out of the Sky commentators, or people like you. Bit like Silverstone 2021
And youve outted yourself as a Lewis cultist. You've run to defend Max at every opportunity. Tell yourself whatever you like mate.
Which says more about the biases of the Sky commentary team (i.e. staying quiet in the face of Lewis ****ing up) than it does about anything else. It's certainly not justification for any argument about Max's innocence.Again, im not a huge fan of Max the human... his father is a different story.

Its the persecution that is driven by them moreso than any desire to prove his innocence.Which says more about the biases of the Sky commentary team (i.e. staying quiet in the face of Lewis ****ing up) than it does about anything else. Yes, he gets belted, because he's not British. That doesn't mean that he doesn't, sometimes, deserve it - as he did with his move on Piastri last night. Its the persecution that is driven by them moreso than any desire to prove his innocence.
Not even Senna or even Schumacher was belted in the same way. Of course social media does play a role in things today which they both didnt have to deal with.
100%Yes, he gets belted, because he's not British. That doesn't mean that he doesn't, sometimes, deserve it - as he did with his move on Piastri last night.
The difference is that when Hamilton screws the pooch they whack him with a limp lettuce leaf, whereas when Verstappen does it they use a cat-o-nine-tails. Both deserve to be whacked on occasion.
10 seconds seems to be their standard penalty for "causing a collision" these days. Piastri got the same penalty later in the race.100%
I thought it was borderline last night but he did deserve a penalty of some description.
Standard doesnt necessarily mean good mind you.10 seconds seems to be their standard penalty for "causing a collision" these days. Piastri got the same penalty later in the race.
10 seconds for causing a collision is on the light side, particularly if it completely destroys the other driver's race (as it did with Piastri).Standard doesnt necessarily mean good mind you.
I've watched F1 for 20 years but go off king. And youve outted yourself as a Lewis cultist.
Youve been watching F1 for 5 minutes, there's VERY few people who get shit-canned in the same way Max does on a weekly basis.
If you read what I wrote in the first instance I said a penalty was deserved.
And you still get it so so wrongI've watched F1 for 20 years but go off king.
Who for? He'll be 34 by then too. He's not going back to Ferrari, mercedes is a maybe see how kimi goes, "Don't see him at Red bull. Will be in 2027 i reckon.
He's been forced into a move he didnt want to make when all the good seats were contractually unavailable.... it sucks big time for him.Who for? He'll be 34 by then too. He's not going back to Ferrari, mercedes is a maybe see how similar goes don't see him at Red bull,
