Bid on Ashcroft, then Lalor, Langford or Armstrong.Hypothetically, if we did get pick 2 for Houston, who would you draft?
Would it be Draper other than for the reason of sticking it up the crows?
If he willing to play as a small forward for the first 80 games of his career. Take the Heeney route to becoming a star!Hypothetically, if we did get pick 2 for Houston, who would you draft?

I’m pretty sure Ashcroft will be gone before Port can bid on him.Bid on Ashcroft, then Lalor, Langford or Armstrong.
Isaiah Dudley pls.Would rather get a mature aged small goal kicking forward from the SANFL, a few out there. This is an urgent need

Very skilled but might be a bit small for AFLIsaiah Dudley pls.

Completely agree on the player type. A big powerful mid would be ideal. Love Lalor’s combativeness.Lalor my more realistic guy, but definitely this if we get that pick.
I thought it took more games than that.If he willing to play as a small forward for the first 80 games of his career. Take the Heeney route to becoming a star!
Draper does not have the skillset to operate as a small forward like Heeney did imo. His kicking is not as elite as Heeney'sIf he willing to play as a small forward for the first 80 games of his career. Take the Heeney route to becoming a star!

Would love to pick up Joe Berry, who is a classy small forward. Expected to go around pick 15 (which would have been our first round pick). Would be a massive upgrade on Evans / McEntee.

Meh. Our midfield is pretty well set for a decade. Our small forwards are McEntee, Evans and Narkle.I don’t know berry , but drafting a small forward with a high pick would make me nervous. Rather go an elite mid and look for small forwards with mid draft picks

I'm no draft expert so I don't know enough about individual draftees to comment on them, but looking back on last year's draft, someone like Nick Watson would do much more for our list balance right now than any midfielder in that draft not named Harley Reid would.
How do you know this?Lol Draper doesn't want to be drafted by the crows, concerns about their handling of young players. Rachele cited as an example.
How do you know this?
Can we control who drafts him, ie can they say no?
Is he mates with Hornet? Maybe wanting to go to a Vic club is a smoke screen?Reported on Channel Crow (7)
Officially, you can't say no, it's draft tampering, unless you're a Victorian kid. But you can make it clear you don't want to go to the club. The ball is then in their court.
Draper would prefer going to a Vic club according to the report, so that's probably ok with the AFL.
Someone post the link when this bit gets on Twitter.Reported on Channel Crow (7)
